hey everyone this is another boss added to the game,this boss was orginal created by Exaflux and was edited/tweaked by me for the sprite version

i add one little change to it and that's the small orange part on its head. it's a small piece of glass that allows you to see it's "brain" functioning

Yeeyee! Now that I think about it, that's actually a pretty nice addition!
After all, if it's a prototype you're gonna want to know if everything if functioning and ensure there's no internal issues! Especially if it's something intricate like the brain.

yeah exactly lol you read my mind. also since it's a prototype. i chose disco's ability like said to be it weakness. disco's ability is Hyper vibration it would cause RP-D48 to fall apart from the inside out...

That also makes quite a lot of sense. Shake something loose, and it may stop working properly...
Though, you know, if it's a prototype that consumes too much energy then that would also mean that the attack it uses may also be more powerful than necessary. So, like, what if Disco's ability dampens the next time
RP-D43 attacks? So, it may have a powerful attack give or take that you can dodge or hide from it, but if you do actually get hit but have used Disco's ability before-hand the attack doesn't do as much damage. However, it only lasts for that one attack and you need to use the ability again to have the same effect the next attack (saying this because it's a boss so you don't want to make it too easy to beat because the dampening stacks each time, it should work once per attack so that if you forget to use the ability the next time and you get hit with full damage it's your own loss).
Thinking this because the railgun is linked up with wires and/or tubes with supply the weapon with energy to function, but because it's a prototype and everything the connection to the railgun can be shaken loose so it means that less power goes to it. Just a passing thought that could potentially make an interesting strategy to beat it with.

yeah that would be the effect of getting hit by by hyper v. also that why RP-d48 weapon is also Gollems weakness. gollem has higher defence than most robots but having the prototype's weapon would eat through any armor because it's so powerful there for rendering golem's armer useless

hmmmm should i add secret Characters in it. what i mean is basicly theres a secret room either in one or more stages. and the contain a special character. for instance if you or me wanted to be in the game to thank the player for playing, for me i would use my special character known as RoBo-X64 but this is still an idea

I don't really know, though it'd be a neat addition. I sure wouldn't mind; I'll leave the decision up to you.
However, how about instead of a secret room you make it so that a special "stage" icon appears in the menu when a that takes you to a special room when a certain criteria is met. What the criteria is I don't know, but, like, how about also including something special in there too.
I mean, when I play a game and there's an easter egg I normally think it's cool the first time around but don't feel any real reason to try and get/find the easter egg again unless I get something from it.
So like, what about as well as getting a special thanks you also get an item? Like, it doesn't even have to be something that's actually useful, it could just be something like an equip-able fedora or a rubber duck that quacks if you try and select it (but nothing else happens). Heck, make the room interesting by having confetti rain from the ceiling or have it be a disco room.
I don't really know, but what I do know is that people like things that are stupid and pointless. People will be willing to go the extra mile to get given a special, pointless reward for putting in effort.
Alternatively, you could actually give them something useful for trying hard, but then it's a case of how useful is it. If you give a player something too useful from an easter egg then it may make the game a bit too easy.

Damn, that's an awesome engine! Good find! I'm really glad that someone made one as solid as that.
I mean, now that you found that, it'll take a whole lotta time off your hands making one from scratch.

yeah but i have ran into a problem i dont know how to change the code to give my character wall jump and dash so that means i will have a lot of unused sprites

Ah. Uhh. Sorry, I can't help you there as I've never tried to code.
I mean, maybe you could ask the creator of the game's engine on whether
there's any way to add wall jumping and dashing? People have made it
possible to play as the RMs and give them each their own abilities, so there's
got to be a way somehow.
