I didn't used to believe in the paranormal until I saw this poor lad at a condemned house in Beaufort a year or two ago while on vacation. Of course I took creative liberties as the actual apparition was just a black silhouette with a bent neck. Thought I was going crazy till we took a "ghost tour" throughout the town the next day. Come found out the story behind that condemned house was that a man was drunk fixing his leaky roof during a storm. Slipped and fell on his head, snapping his neck and instantly killing him. I asked the tour guide where he supposedly fell and he pointed to the exact spot I saw the apparition the night before.

Safe to say I nearly pissed myself that night. Still tryin to find ways to debunk my experience but so far i got nothing. I'll never forget that night
