You art is great, but there's still room improvement.
Don't take that as critique or offense, but as advise from someone who means well...
 
Add a little white dot to proper place in the eye (light reflection), use the dynamic tool instead of static one, lines will look more smooth. Combine those things with your awesome shading method and your art will look perfect...

So yeah, I love this!! I love the shading, especially on the eyes, god the eyes are so pretty! You should really keep that up
and I love how he's sticking his tongue out!
