Don't know if you tried to keep the center of
the face sharp and let it blend in to the rest.
Could be an great alternative to this one.

Thanks DR.The original render,the face was sharper & then dof blended the rest of her in well.Octane render left it noisy still,which is how this image came about.Lost some of the intial sharpness whilst in Photoshop.
