Vivian stretched her free arm outwards in a desperate plea for mercy; her minuscule body completely immobilized between her bully’s enormous glossy lips as they puckered painfully around her collapsing torso, its pressure constricting the last gasp of air from the little student’s lungs in the form of a devastatingly shrill shriek - a final pitiful protest at the cosmic absurdity of it all as she felt herself being sucked into her rival’s slurping wet mouth.

Things were supposed to be different after the Tiny Civil Rights Act. As a graduating senior at a size-integrated High School, Vivian should have been able to garner the same respect and opportunities as her full-sized peers; even though she herself was born tiny. It was the law. However, as is often the case in life, there is a huge gap between the way things are supposed to be and the way things actually are. And so while the tiny aspiring musician was respected by all of her fellow tiny students and many of the giant ones, there were always a few bigoted giants who would never view her as an equal.

Liliana Katzenberger was one of those giants.

Liliana was a huge bully - literally. She was taller than even most of her fellow giants and would regularly pick on Vivian after class, inflicting a wide range of humiliating abuses on her helpless victim for reasons which were unclear to Vivian. She wasn’t the only tiny in class, but she was Liliana’s favorite target by far. It started with mere name calling; the looming giant loner raining expletives and demeaning nicknames down upon the tiny tattooed honor student from a towering height. Then it escalated to spreading vicious rumors and lies about Vivian, often involving imagined sexual escapades or supposed interactions with giant boys; part of a concerted plot to get the other giant girls in class angry with Vivian - an extremely stressful scenario for a tiny girl who now has to walk the halls of an integrated school while looking over her shoulder for any jealous giantesses.

Before long, Liliana was poking Vivian hard in the chest, demanding lunch money while threatening to really hurt her if she ever told anyone about the bullying. For the next few months, her harassment would get worse and more physical, culminating with the gym teacher finding Vivian trapped in one of Liliana’s dirty workout socks, its opened end tied off so that the poor tiny girl couldn’t escape - a “prank” (as it was later classified) that would land the bratty giant bully in detention for a full week.

In the week after Liliana completed detention, she kicked her bullying behavior up a notch; flicking Vivian in the head with her dark painted nails at random times for no reason and tossing her into a different bathroom toilet every day. By the end of this “hell week”, Vivian had had enough. She finally mustered up the courage to stand up for herself. On that Friday, Vivian decided to verbally snap back at Liliana, telling her gigantic bully that enough was enough and she wasn’t going to take it anymore.
