My mom used to worry about the drawings/sketches I did when I'm trying to figure out tricks for muscles/foreshortening/movement, because usually they are clothesless figures haha. Though I never have drawn genetalia so no worries there XD
But yeah, I suppose if I weren't an *aspiring* artist, and my kid started drawing random shirtless men and had like a billion pics of male models all over her computer and desk, I'd be a little concerned too haha.

Yeah my mom once flipped her shit because she saw I drew pubes...but luckily I was able to explain to her, though I try not to let her see those drawings...
I remember drawing a girl when I was sitting in my math class, and some kid just walked by and yelled at the teacher, "Mrs. So-So, Amanda's drawing porn!!!" Then the teacher came over to see, and I had to explain to her that it was a base, you have to draw the body first and then fit the clothes to it -_- Luckily I didn't get in trouble, but holy shit that scared me! XD
I haven't tried drawing genitals yet, and I don't think I will (because I would probably make them look like shrivelled raisins) but it seems like it would be something hard to draw! Especially for males I would think.
Haha yeah, well I think my parents were mainly concerned because I barely have a social life as it is, plus I don't date, and I've never really been one of those kids to talk about my crushes (my older sister told them EVERYTHING), so I guess I understand their concern. XD

OH MY GOD. YES. That is so damn annoying! I often times would feel afraid to draw people in public places for that exact reason.
That is my biggest pet peeve about society...especially here in Utah. Everyone is taught that the naked human body is sinful. I also fucking hate it when people get awkward about shirtless men, or girls with cleavage that I draw. They act like I'm drawing porn or some shit. I could go on a ten-hour rant about that, but that's what my next journal is for XD
Lucky, if my mom were to find me drawing BL, I think she'd freak out. XD My dad probably not so much since he supports gay/les/trans/bi people too, though he may find it just a little weird haha.

I think mine are more accepting my choice to remain single. Though it seems they are really excited about my sister hooking up with this guy when she's only been home for 3 weeks now.
But I find myself filling in for the "protective dad" role.
I'm nice to that guy and all...but I let him know I disapprove of his "touchy huggy"-ness around my sister through Satanic death glares.
