Chapter OneSonic and Amy are what?

(Tails’ POV)

After watching, the Laser Ray’s laser made a direct hit at Sonic and Amy, smoke and dust covered the area. I could hear Eggman cheering…how dare he cheers for someone he just killed!

“HO HO HO HO! I HAVE FINALLY DONE IT! I HAVE FINALLY BEATEN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! HE IS FINALLY GONE!” Eggman cheered. ‘No…Mr. Sonic and Amy can’t be gone.’ Cream thought. “Laser Ray, let’s finish dominating this world.” Eggman said. “CHAOS SPEAR!”

Juts as Eggman was about to finish destroying the city, light arrows appeared out of nowhere and destroyed Eggman’s robot. Eggman noticed the G.U.N’s appearance and just like a coward would do, he flew away in his little flying ship. But that attack…that’s weird…where did that attack—no way! It’s…

“Are you okay Miles?” Shadow asked. “It’s Tails,” the kitsune replied as he stood up and dusted himself off, “And yes, I’m okay.” “Men, scout and clean up the perimeter.” Commander said. “Tails,” Rouge said, “Why are you so down?” “Well…” Tails started, “I…umm…” “M-Mr. Sonic and A-Amy are gone!” Cream cried as Cheese tried to cheer her up. “Sonic can’t be destroyed that easily.” Rouge said. “Well, this time,” Tails said, “Eggman has wo—do you hear that?” “Hear what?” Knuckles said.

My ears picked up some small sounds coming from the smoke full of dust. What was that noise?

“Miles Prower,” Commander said, “This was found in the rubble that Eggman’s robot fired its weapon. It’s all that we found.”

Sonic’s shoes…gloves…Amy’s shoes…red dress…gloves…they were actually gone. I just can’t believe it. I—that sound again…it’s coming from under Amy’s red dress. I lifted it up and you wouldn’t believe what I saw. I saw Sonic and Amy! Except they were smaller than usual…they were both…

“Faker and the annoying girl are baby hedgehogs?” Shadow said in shock. “Oh, now I get it,” Tails said, “Laser Ray’s laser must have not been a laser to kill Sonic and Amy, but instead, it turned them into babies.” “So our real problem is that how do we get them back to normal?” Rouge asked. “Unfortunately, I don’t know.” Tails replied.

I was so glad that Sonic—my best buddy—and Amy were still alive. I just hope I can find some way to get them back to their regular forms. *sigh*…for now, they are going to have to stay as babies.
