Look at her But look closerher bright blue eyes at the dark circles beneath her eyes
her long, thin body She's not always
her legs stretched out so very
her arms so toned elegant
her soft, smooth hair A stray hair slips out of place
and betrays her in
imperfection...
her sweet carrying voice She speaks
her strong beliefs much too loud
Look at her face And now
that perfect smile she frowns
such wide open eyes She sees too much
And, the truth is-
she'll always be
a disappointment
to you

i really like the poem..and i like the formatting of it as well...how the left is all perfect, the idealized image...and then the right is all off balanced and such...

It's a schemata! kinda... we had to do one in religion, where everything on the right lines up with the left.
