Description Hollow Earth Fauna: Cerberus

The guard-dog of the Underworld in Greek Mythology, Cerberus is described as a large dog with three heads, lion's claws, a mane of serpents and a serpent for a tail.

In The Divine Comedy (c. 1308 - 1321) by Dante Alighieri, Cerberus is the watcher of the 3rd Circle of Hell where he eats the gluttonous for all eternity. Dante describes him as black, with red eyes and a large belly.

The original etymology of the name is unknown, but some believe it meant "spot" or "speckled".

So is Hell (or at least Catholic Hell) on Earth in this universe because this makes me wounder how that works with the Hollow Earth being a thing also in this world?

There is also the tunnel (or something) that goes from the bottom of Hell to Purgatory so unless that is really a wormhole then there would be a single massive tunnel or cylinder in the "sky" to the other side of the Hollow Earth then out again. That would be a cool site to see if nothing else. Wonder if anyone tries to use it as a shortcut, though they would probably be burned by the "sun" if they tried.
