DUDE, they shouldnt have canceled the movie, first they blow our minds with all the live action stuff, and now they quit?!?! no offense to bungie, but those guys owe more to the fans than just a 10min short that wasnt even close to enough combat for any halo fan...its just so depressing!
btw, they stole my ideafor the game odst, i wrote up a skript for a halo game called "Halo: Marine Stories" that jumps from characters throughout the war with the covanent... sound kinda simular to the most recent game? other than the intier war part.

That is SO awesome! I made a Solid Snake costume once, and I WAS half way through an ODST costume as well. The ODST was coming along nicely, but the helmet was just a motorcycle helmet. (Albeit a very similar- looking motorcycle helmet) The gun was a FA- MAS Airsoft gun slightly altered, with a scope molded on.
We had SO much fun that Halloween XD

well it wasn't actually promoting the movie it was a series of short films that were made to promote halo 3 and sorta show the lead up to the events of the level "sierra 117" but still freaking awesome

yea i did...i was a little bit excited at first...but hollywood tends to botch films that are based on books or vid games...just look at the Harry Potter Movies and Doom, the film...those two things were great before they were made into films...that's all i'm saying...hope u understand... XD

Only reason they stopped is because the Hollywood big wigs wanted to put a big name actor as master chief and show his face, to which Peter Jackson, who was the director at the time told them nuh uh... and then he made District 9 with the team that was gona make the Halo movie, so picture Halo, done as pretty as District 9. And there you have it. I think it would have been amazing
