I canβt say βdark tonesβ make an episode better or ruin it because thatβs legit up to viewers to decide, but there is a trend of object shows getting deeper and more serious as episodes add onβ
Could b because the creators wanna mix it up and want their characs to develop more
...Or cuz theyβre changing with the show / theyβre both maturing

I kept thinking of Ultimate Kars' theme from Battle Tendency when the whole episode hit the climax, knowing that only Woody, Spongy, Four, X, Puffball and presumably Death P.A.C.T survived the fire. I don't even think it was even in Yoyleland because the grass wasn't even purple. At the very least the All-Namers [Bleh[their team name is just a garbled mess of their member names, just to remind you]] ended up on the chopping block, but where is the show going to go from here, in terms of location?
