That's a pretty tricky question to answer.. I think.

From my experiences, it feels the same when coloring in thick lines, difficulty wise.

However, it does take a little longer to finish, as the colors tend to bypass the relatively thin lines.. but that's just me.

It all depends on the artist, I guess.
