It's eerie in a subtle way, restrictions here are not as strict as for example in Italy and there is no official requirement to wear masks. Also at least in Lower Saxony it is still allowed to rest outside in a park, so there are still many people outside (with their families, alone or in groups of two) if the weather is sunny and at first glance it could be a not very busy Sunday every day. Only at second glance it is way too empty for the first really warm weeks of spring in Germany and then there are the notes on the doors of closed shops, the barrier rope around the playgrounds and guards in front of supermarkets...

yes it's a weird time maybe in Italy they should wear masks considering the number of cases they have had,    it was spreading pretty quickly here too til we finally learned to stay home and if we had to go out wear masks and keep at least 6 feet apart and its spread has noticeably slowed ..yeah it sux that most places are closed but it needs to be done ....
