Years ago I found a book with witcher short stories in a local bookstore. I was intrigued by the dark humour, but although it said on the cover that it was part of cycle, I never found a copy of the other books (I lived in a small town with one small bookstore) and I assumed they had never been translated to German. When some time ago my boyfriend played the game, it seemed weirdly familiar, and I spent the next few months hunting for the remaining books in bookstores all over the city.
