I'm sorry that I haven't been uploading a lot of art lately -_- I don't have as much time these days to do do much of anything cause of my job, but once in a while I DO manage to get something done.
Now I've always loved She-ra (I'm an 80's girl ^^), and the other night I was watching 'Justice League' and I thought that she would look really nifty in the deceptively simple-yet-brilliant style of Bruce Timm, which I've admired since 'Batman: The Animated Series,' one of my favorite shows of all time. So keeping in mind, but not trying to overtly copy the style, I did this drawing. With the coloring I also tried to keep it simple, but just a little more detailed than the animation. Well, it wasn't too hard anyway, it's about all I've had time to do art-wise except for a few pencil sketches.
Sigh, I miss the cartoons of the 80's, but I'm glad most of them are on DVD now, especially She-ra. I just always thought she had the coolest super-hero outfit ^_^ And I love her transformation sequence-- She was like the first American magical girl in a lot of ways, if you think about it lol. Oops, didn't mean to reminisce ^_^;
