DAY 1: Holding Hands I actually decided that I'm going to color these.
I am honestly not too happy with this one. Jeanette, for the most part, turned out alright, but I think Simon looks weird...it's that damn sweater of his, ugh. I love his long sweater, it's so cute, but it's a real pain in the neck to draw. You'd think that it wouldn't be, but...omfg. ;__; Also, those hands, what the-- I hate drawing hands. DX
I colored it with an old coloring technique I used to do. It's quick and messy, but it still looks nice. No shading with these.
I will probably redraw this sometime in the future.

as for constructive criticism, the hands could use some work. you could try using references and tutorials on hands and stuff ( because that's what I do and it helps most of the time. xD ) but, since they only have four fingers, it should be a bit less difficult than five fingers.
ack sorry if I was sounding mean!! I just thought I could help by trying to give some tips!
and sorry for asking again, but, is this colouring technique similar to the other one?? I-I don't want to seem like I'm asking you to help me with too much with colouring ..

Don't worry, you weren't being mean, lol. Β I know the hands need some work...I've always had difficulty trying to draw them, and same with bare feet. Β I must have tried to re-draw their hands three or four times, but then I finally gave up, and left it as it is now. Β xDD Β I tried looking up other pictures of people holding hands, but that didn't help much...I just need to keep trying, I guess. Β
And yes, it is. Β I color it the same way as I do with my other technique. Β The only difference with this one is that I lower the opacity of the layer, and that's what makes the colors look softer and lighter. Β Also, I don't use line art with these, I just use the sketch itself. Β It looks a bit messy, having all of the stray pencil marks everywhere, but I think it looks neat.
