This is one I started long ago and just had to finish. Swat Kats is one of the coolest cartoons of all time. It's such a shame that it had to end. I would love the series to make a return in new form but might be disappointed with the result.Related content

Very cool. I love SWAT Kats and regularly watch an episode on my PS3. Very well done sprite too. Doubt I'd much care for a revival of the show unless it was exactly like the old one. Unlike some other cartoons there's nothing about it that really needs updating.

Thank you, I appreciate the comment. I'm not saying anything needs to change, but I would like for the show to continue, two seasons is not enough. Even if there weren't a series and only a movie, I think it could be pretty rad.

Yeah but they always change things don't they? It would probably end up full of cheap-looking CGI and the music would be like cheesy Linkin Park-lite or something, I dunno. A great show while it lasted though. Good thing we now live in an age where it's easy to obtain complete seasons of old shows via downloads or DVD boxsets instead of hoping some channel will perform some kind of miracle by re-running them. I introduced a couple of friends of mine to SWAT Kats a couple months ago as they'd never even heard of it and by the end of series 2 they were definitely new fans.

I too wish they'd revive Swat Kats, but sadly, two or three of the voice actors are dead, and I question if Barry Gordon, Tress Macneille, and Charlie Adler would wana do this show again. But if Ted Turner had his greedy nose out of it, I'd support it full throttle. X3

There's no denying that. And I am sure they may be able to find those close enough to match the ones who have passed on aswell.
