Description
The Torrent series rifles, the newest mainline weapon for the armed New Genesian forces. Created in response to the Aoife invasion, as a result of the Elder Genesian assault, when the Genesians realized they needed better, more adaptive weaponry.

Torrent MK 1, on the bottom, is the most basic assault rifle platform in the Torrent series. With a side rail and top rail, a 30-round reversed (for aesthetic appeal) STANAG magazine, low sights and an adaptive bolt and ejection port. Has a medium rate of fire and average distance. Created of course for more on-the-spot encounters. Assigned mostly to guards.

Torrent MK 2, the middle images, has a 20-round high-power magazine, a larger bolt, with rounds able to penetrate deeper and fly farther. MK 2 was designed for marksmen on the go, a scout or pointman. Mod C (bottom center) is internally suppressed, often accompanied with a low-magnification scope. Mod E (top center) is equipped with a foregrip attached to the rail shield, and low magnification dot sights.

Torrent MK 3, the top, is designed with power in mind. The full-auto function is removed, with a burst-fire selection in it's place. The bolt is much larger, as well as the barrel. It uses a 5-round magazine, stacked with powerful hard-hitting rounds, or more refined AP rounds. Using a much heavier stock, bipod, and 12x optic scope, and with recoil-reduction in mind, the MK 3 is designed to be a weapon to take down your target in one hit.
