This was actually a practice with color that I started...uh...well I can't remember, but there is a piece on the other side of this that's from '05. Perhaps it's a clue.I found this in my room while looking for lined paper to do Chemistry homework. It's amazing what you can find when you're not looking for it.
Watercolor and gold acrylic (that didn't scan) on a 4x6" piece of watercolor paper.

The water is really beautiful and well blended, but I'm not sure I would drink from it.

Yeah, that water probably has some sort of chemical or sort sort of little glowy organisms that don't seem very palatable to me.

Too bad the gold acrylic didn't turn out- I've used gold acrylic before, and it just doesn't scan at all well.

Where else did you think they came from? The magical Toad Overlord Xanthurl? He's much too busy smiting mortals and messing with world politics to deal with things like that. Therefore, he hands down jobs like Auroras, leaves changing color in Autumn, bestowing pimples and other skin-related maladies on teenagers, the annual shedding of pets everywhere, etc. to his minions.
And I'm retarded with paint most of the time because I get angry and throw it at stuff when it doesn't do what I want. That's why the carpet in my room is spotted with black and orange and white and green...oh, and usually Merlin has to come see what I'm doing so he ends up kinda colorful too. Such a dumb little cat...

My bedroom floor is spotted with brown. I dropped some eyeshadow once and that stuff just doesn't come out!

That's a tragic tale.
The Fluff-meister up there once had four beautiful feet (legs are questionable, but who cares about them) that he loved and groomed at least three times every day.
One day, he found the most marvelous pool in the world. It glowed like the full moon on a cloudless summer night and shone with all the colors of the rainbow. He became so mesmerized by the beautiful water that he didn't notice that his lower body was slowly melting away into the surrounding darkness as though he had stepped in a vat of acid. When this picture was done, he had only one foot remaining--the other three and his long, luscious tail had dissolved into nothingness.
Actually I just forgot about feet until the last minute where I did a face-plant on the table and quickly painted a tiny little foot resting under his chin. Go me! :B
