Description James Bond.

This'll probably be the last Bond film with Daniel Craig-- I figured I'd take another shot at drawing him.

Awesome! High contrast!

May I ask you something... I need advice regarding getting proportions right, especially in portraits. And I don't want to rely on grids anymore, so I can improve. May you give me a hint/opinion?

You could try visualizing a line between points of interest (like between the corner of the eye and the corner of the mouth) and gauging the angle of the line. If you can identify anchoring points throughout the image and keep angles consistent between your drawing and the observed subject, it'll be easier to map out where all the details should be relative to one another.

Hope that helps!

A lot... Actually I do it, to a minor extent... But I always thought it was like "cheating."
Great to hear it from a great artist like you.
Thank you!

Great job! I like the stern expression.
I like your technique too, the cross hatching and your use of hard pencils. 4H, that's so sharp it almost pierces the paper. Hehe!

It's going to be his last Bond movie. There was even an interview where he said he'd rather slit his wrists than make another bond movie

Haha, wow. Seems like a fun job, but I guess I understand why he'd want to move on after almost 10 years.
