this is definitely the most in depth and detailed piece i have made in probably my entire life LOL! in 2019, some people may remember a piece i made called "trotting along." i decided it was time to see what i could do with my new drawing abilities! i really love pear butter and bright mac, they are such comforting characters and i am soso happy with how this illustration came out.<3i worked with my limited brushes in order to create a full on painted background, so i don't think it looks too bad myself !! i really enjoyed painting all the trees and i thought it was so fun to experiment with all the different water color brush textures.
i also had a lot of fun creating a dappling effect and shading pear and bright. they are such lovely characters and i am so glad to have redrawn this piece! i may be redrawing more of my past illustrations in the future, because i am so happy with these results. <3 it feels amazing to see all the progress i have made in the past 3ish years!
