I am simply fascinated by the Infinity Stones, or the Infinity Gems as they're known in the comics. I actually made my own replicas out of hard paper, and I sometimes stick them on my winter ski glove and pretend to use their vast power for noble purposes.

Well in the comics it further empowers the other stones, plus it would be the most effective stone to change humanity, given it can alter emotions and beliefs.

does the power stone empower the other stones? Also all of the stones, when joined together, work in a loop where one stone empowers the other and over and over

The power stone is the source for the other stones energies and when they are used together they do work in a loop, but when the soul stone is properly used it can further empower/enhance the other stones abilities... plus the Soul Stone was the first of the Stones to exist and if I'm not mistaken, the Soul Stone can also repair the other stones if need be.
