The litmus for visual art is the emotion experienced by those who view it. When I saw this picture for the first time, everything around me was replaced by the sound of a lone Italian violin; the subtle odor of a lightly floral perfume; the feel of a cool wooden floor under my bare feet; the anticipation of the lovemaking that is about to take place. It is that moment when every sense is focused on one thing, one person, one event. That is what art does. What it is. The model, the setting, lighting, and the amazing look on her face, is perfection, if there is such a thing as perfection. I would love to know this young woman's name so I could see more of her. She is amazing.Β
