I got really lazy artwise on this page, focusing more on characterization. I'll let be the judge on if I got Veil right.

Nice fight! Veil is a good opponent for Virtus, as he couldn't get a word in edgeways and he's much easier to like when he isn't talking! Nice dramatic end to the fight too.

Granted, I think talking is a big part of V's nature, I felt that his speech might be more well-received if there's less of it. Just wait for the finals though... ^^

Don't get me wrong, I like Virtus - but the tone of his more moral outbursts comes across as though he's lecturing his opponents sometimes! I like it when his qualities are shown by his actions, rather than his speeches, that's all.

Great stuff man. I think the 3 pages works well, limits your storytelling and its very concise and flows really well. Nice action, you went with interesting perspectives and angles, and you captured both character's personalities well. good start bud.

I'll be very surprised if you don't win this one, Seb. I've put a lot of effort into my page but I doubt it's enough to win. The way mine's worked out, there really isn't enough Virtus in it. Don't worry though, I'll make it up to you by way of some fan art down the line.

Not so convenient, really. Veil has a healing factor, and Virtus is just tough. (It still hurt!) At that height, it's still like hitting a concrete surface. ^^
