Description
It is a bit early but this is an old little something I dug up and colored in a rush for Valentine's Day. I am not sure that I will find another opportunity to sit down and come up with a title, ramble about this and that in the description box and all that once the day in question arrives, so here I am.

Every year I am quite amazed by the hating I run into surrounding Valentine's. All lunch conversations circulate around why the 14th of February is a cursed day of hypocrisy. I might just be naïve (and a hopeless romantic) but I love Valentine's Day. I do not even have to have that special someone in my life to love it. I do not really care for the stores going all out to sell us overpriced junk (the decorations are quite nice to look at too). It is nice to see that couples really do seem to look happier and closer than usual. Let's celebrate the love.

Who knows, one might even run into a mysterious stranger (with awesome ninja skills ) but then I think it is better to avoid doing what Peach is doing in this picture and get to know each other a little first.

So what's the story behind this scene? It leaves a lot of room for interpretation. What I had in mind when drawing it was that I pictured a scenario where Zelda participated in SSB without revealing her secret identity as Sheik. One day she could not resist to try out the training hall. But, while she is on her way sneaking back to her room (trying out those rusty Sheikah skills to see if she can pass by unnoticed), Peach is pushed over the railing of the second floor. Zelda acts on instinct and catches her. Once she realizes that she has just revealed herself she flees. To Peach it all seems like the typical love story with a mysterious hero dashing to the heroine's rescue and not even leaving her with a name (for example, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask).
Wait, what about Mario? Peach would never betray him. This mysterious stranger thing is all fun and games to her. She is merely playing her part as the damsel in distress falling in love. She would not let it go anywhere further, because the one she truly loves and is completely devoted to will always be her plumber in shining blue overalls. Zelda might still not appreciate the girl-talk revolving around how "in love" Peach is with her.

Just clarifying: Sheik is female here. Peach thinks that she is male. You may interpret it as you wish though. Do not care about my stupid ideas
