For my concept painting class, we had to re-imagine an IP, so I drew Miraculous Ladybug in a sci-fi setting~! Some background for the world and characters I had in mind while creating this ordeal are as follows:Marinette is a typical teenage girl with a passion for robotic design. Between school and helping out at her parent’s bakery, she sneaks out to join in the robot fights.
Adrian is an advanced Android created by the brilliant AI designer Gabriel Agrest. He is one of the only Androids out there at the moment capable of feeling emotions… He was made with Gabriel’s deceased son’s image in mind.
The Miraculous Project was originally an experimental city building technique using nanobots. These nanobots have the power to create things (by clumping many together) or decompose things. Now, they are being used by Ladybug and Chat Noir to stop the Papillion, who is using an older version of these nano-bots to create super-soldiers that are tormenting the city streets. His ultimate goals are unknown.

Sounds just so god damn cool. But I do wonder along side KestrelsongArt, how do the kwami's fit in?
Are they like computer AI's or some sort of drives granting those abilities over the nanobots? Like something you need to hack into those things?

Thank you!! If you check the reply to KestrelsongArt, I mentioned that they function similar to an exo-suit. And yes, they'd definitely be granting their wearer the abilities that come with their particular miraculous. The Miraculous would be some sort of micro-chip inside the ring and earrings.

Thanks so much!! I didn't get the chance to draw the kwami, but I figure they function similar to an exo-suit of sorts? They would be some sort of robot AI that has the ability to morph into the suits they wear, similar to how the kwami function in cannon.

This is really beautiful. The way you've added their special skills (what do you even call cataclysm and lucky charm?), and the spin on their outfits but it still holds a resemblance to the outfits in the series. Really. It's gorgeous, keep at it!
