Description
To celebrate the remake of this classic, I went ahead and drew CrashI've never actually played the games myself, but I'm currently watching Vash play through them all and it looks fun. Hard, but fun :3
As of now, all of my original art will go up on etsy for about $25 (Β£20) so if you see one you like, make sure you grab it. Once it's gone, It's gone!

I was shocked that they renewed the designs on Crash Bandicoot!

Yeah, the character they redesigned is Tawna.

Oh yeah. She was a bit risque before

The first design was too exaggerated and now, the redesign is much prettier. She is also fighting four of Neo Cortex's assistants before she was surrounded.Β

I saw that. I'm watching someone play through the game

And they even crossover that with Skylanders! OMG!!!

Yep. I'm not a fan of Skylanders.

I wasn't interested with the game itself but the art works on all of the characters except for spyro.

Thank you very much!
I really wish I played the old Crash back in the day. Spyro was my 'go to' game

Ayyy my philosophy is that there's never such thing as being too late to the party - er fandom XD And Spyro was that one franchise that escaped me Though, even I could tell that Spyro was the big thing XD

Very true
I used to play the crap out of Spyro 3 XD A purple dragon that collected sparkly gems was right up my street

Ayyy I see the appeal in that though I gotta say the all-time favourite for me was the Red-hatted Italian plumber with the underappreciated green-hatted brother X3

Good ol' Mario Β
I know! Poor Luigi XD To be honest, I think I prefer him over Mario. Quiet and reserved but can still kick an arse or two

Can Crash actually speak? I always thought he was mute.

JUST 7 hours???? O____O
Holy crap.... I would need 20h to colour it... or more (I'm fucking slow... x.x)

SpellboundEnigma In reply to 2D-Dipper [2017-07-31 18:33:27 +0000 UTC]
Well, it might have been a bit over 7 hours I should time myself next time.
When I'm drawing, I tend to lose track of time XD

2D-Dipper In reply to SpellboundEnigma [2017-07-31 18:39:53 +0000 UTC]
I try to count the time I'll need for my drawings...
mostly I'm between 30 - 50 h per drawing (from sketch to finished colouration) >A<
π: 0 β©: 1
SpellboundEnigma In reply to 2D-Dipper [2017-07-31 18:46:47 +0000 UTC]
Wow x-x
It generally depends on how much detail is going into the piece but for a sketch, it takes me 1-3 hours. To colour can be anything from 4 -12 hours.
But, it's always better to go slow and steady ^-^Β

2D-Dipper In reply to SpellboundEnigma [2017-07-31 19:00:39 +0000 UTC]
yeah... much of time ^^''
yeah, for a sketch I need approx. 1-7h (it depends on how large the sheet of paper is and how sketchy i make it... and so on) ...but like you said: it also depends on how much detail is going into the piece ^^
4-12h for colouring is fast.... especially when it looks so good like your colouration is ^__^
π: 0 β©: 1
SpellboundEnigma In reply to 2D-Dipper [2017-07-31 20:09:11 +0000 UTC]
It doesn't feel fast XD
Then again, I need to work fairly quickly so that the markers will blend with each other.
When it comes to colouring, I always like to do a base coat of the lightest colour first and work from light to dark.

2D-Dipper In reply to SpellboundEnigma [2017-07-31 20:16:48 +0000 UTC]
For me : it's fast x'DD ha ha
Yeah, I try the same to blend the markers with each other, also with working from light to dark.
I guess, I've too much details in my arts, which takes too much time

SpellboundEnigma In reply to 2D-Dipper [2017-08-01 09:05:12 +0000 UTC]
Detail is your friend!
I try to cram as much detail in as I can to add dimension and depth.
There;s no such thing as too much detail
π: 0 β©: 1
2D-Dipper In reply to SpellboundEnigma [2017-08-01 19:01:32 +0000 UTC]
haha, yeah~
but believe me... it's possible to have too much details.. xD
the good way: you see a whole pic and find there more and more little things...
the bad way: you see just the details and not really the whole pic itself
I try at most to catch the 'good way' with drawing details

SpellboundEnigma In reply to 2D-Dipper [2017-08-01 19:20:28 +0000 UTC]
Then again, if it has a lot of details, you find something new to look at each time you view it
