Photoshop is fun! I was trying out a few tutorials I found here on this picture and they all came up reasonably good for my first go. So thanks to everyone who has a tutorial in my favorites.

This is Rico. He's been fighting with a Spanish resistance group for the past 3 years. The thing in his hand is the pendant his now deceased girlfriend used to wear. His sword has a type of wind turbine in it that helps him gain speed and momentum. He's one of the main characters in a piece of fiction I'm writing right now.

I certainly could have done better with the linework, but I was more focused on colour. I've been filling up a copy book with drawings of all my characters and I'll upload sketches of the other characters soon enough.

EDIT: Changed the line work a little to make his coat seem less flat and his jaw more natural.

EDIT 2: Rotated the pic and smudged the sea up a bit so make it look less like he's leaned back (was supposed to be the wind pushing him back a bit but looked more stupid the more I looked at it).
