I just heard that Waterman Entertainment (the guys that did Alvin and the Chipmunks) has bought the rights to The Brave Little Toaster. I dunno if Disney is going to distribute it or not like they did with the other films.

I actually watched on YouTube a video where the man who directed the movie was interviewed at a college along with the voice actress of Toaster. He said he wants to do a CGI remake in the future but this is only hope at best for now. Here's the link to the video, www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MZzjeAejsg

Cool. A CGI remake would definitely bring nostalgia to those who watched the original. I hope this version becomes one of Disney's movies (since it was them who came up with the original idea and NOT Hyperion/Kushner-Locke), and it COULD become their 57th film as well.
