“I can’t believe you did it Yug!” Joey cheered on the deck of the ship sailing away from Duelist Kingdom.
“I was there Joey.” Yugi gently reminded his friend, he had been ecstatic all the way from Pegasus’s castle to the boat and showed no signs of stopping.
“This is great! I got the money for Serenity’s operation, you got your grandfathers soul back, and I’ve become such a great duelist I want to fight Kaiba! This time I’ll win for sure!”
“Don’t you think that’s a little quick?” Yugi said laughing.
“Of course not! I… hey!” Joey exclaimed as Mai shoved him out of the way.
“Yugi, I’ve been thinking. I want to duel you again.” She said completely ignoring Joey’s protests behind her.
“Sure Mai.”
“Just like that?” She asked surprised.
Yeah just like that, it’ll be fun. The ship has a practice Dueling Arena we can use.”
“But he beat you in the finals!” Joey spoke up, finally heard.
“He wasn’t the duelist that took down Pegasus… yet.” Mai replied as she waved him off following Yugi into the ship.
“So why do you want to duel Mai?” Yugi asked a few minutes later, stepping into the Duel Arena.
“Come on Yug! Kick her butt!” Joey called out from his seat.
“Honestly? I structured my deck to beat your spellcaster deck, see if I can do it. That and I want to see that extra card Pegasus gave you.” Mai answered Yugi, ignoring Joey once again.
Both duelists drew their first hand of five cards each. “Not bad.” Yugi thought to himself. “I’ve already drawn the Dark Magician.” As he looked at the rest of his cards he saw Amores of Prophecy, the Dark Magician Girl, Soul Exchange, and Spellbook of Life.
“I’ll play Amores of Prophecy in Defense Mode and Set this Spell or Trap card.” Yugi announced as he placed the cards on the field.
“And I’ll play Harpie Queen in ATK mode.” Yugi stayed silent thinking what Mai could possibly be doing. Amores of Prophecy had a DEF of 2000 but Harpie Queen only had an ATK of 1900. “I’ll also play two monsters face down and Set this card. That ends my turn.”
“Then I will use Amores of Prophecies special ability to summon a weak monster onto the field.” Yugi said flashing Mai a look of his Spellbook card, Spellbook of Life, in accordance with the monster cards effect as he summoned Allure Queen Lv. 3 from his Deck onto the field in face-up DEF position.
“He’s got to be performing a summon.” Mai thought as she watched Yugi take his turn. There’s no other reason to play like he is, I bet he already drew the Dark Magician. Well too bad for him I’m ready for that. “Okay my turn, I activate my Harpie Queen’s ability to bring a very specific card to my hand. Normally she would be destroyed by this but I activate my Set Trap card, Shift, to select a different monster of mine to be sent to the Graveyard.” Mai said as the holographic projection of her facedown monster card exploded into pieces, leaving only one facedown monster card left. Perfect, this was going exactly as she wanted.
“Your turn Yugi.” Mai casually said refusing to give any hint of a smile indicating what she was planning.
“I’m not the only one up to something.” The King of Games thought to himself as he warily stared at the card in Mai’s hand. “What could it be?”
“I’ll summon Kuriboh, Set another card and end my turn.” Yugi said as he placed another card face-down in one of his remaining Spell and Trap card zones as the hairy fuzz ball of a monster, Kuriboh, appeared on the field in defense mode.
“You know Yugi, I really hate stumbling into traps but somebodies got to take the offensive.” Mai said cockily placing the card she had summoning to her hand on the field, Harpie Hunting Ground. “It’s a field card that boosts all of my Harpies’ ATK by 200 points. Now my Harpie Queen is stronger than your Amores of Prophecy. Harpie Queen attack.” Mai said, the voice recognition software in the Duel Arena making the holographic projection of her monster attack Yugi’s. Amores of Prophecy exploded into holographic bits as he was destroyed. Since Yugi’s monster was in defense mode he didn’t take any damage from the attack. “That will end my turn Yugi.”
“Blast, well at least I still have two monsters I can use to summon the Dark Magician.” Yugi thought. “Ok Mai. I Tribute my two monsters on the field to summon the Dark Magician!” Yugi couldn’t help but feel pride and a little joy upon seeing the Dark Magician appear on the field. “You’d better beware Mai. At 2500 ATK points the Dark Magician is still 400 points stronger than your Harpie Queen, even with your field card in effect. But since I can’t attack on the turn it was summoned I have to wait until next turn.”
“Well that’s too bad Yugi because I’m attacking.” Mai said.
“What? But you’ll lose!”
“Not with this.” Mai said as she showed Yugi the Sword and Shield Spell card and placed in on the field. “The DEF and ATK points of your Dark Magician switch, now he has only 1700 ATK points.”
Yugi bit back bitter disappointment as he saw Mai’s Harpie Queen race across the Duel Arena and kill his Dark Magician with a single blow, sending him to the Graveyard. As they were playing on Duelist Kingdom rules Yugi’s Life Points decreased by the difference in the two ATK position monsters strengths, he lost 400 Life Points exactly leaving him at 3600. “I see you are prepared for this battle Mai, now lets play for real.” Yugi said drawing a card from the top of his deck, “I’ll keep that for later.” He thought. “Okay Mai I’m playing my first Set card, Soul Exchange! You’re very familiar with this card. Instead of having to tribute one of my monsters to summon a stronger card I can tribute one of yours.”
“Soul Exchange!? NO!” Mai exclaimed, feigning a convincing look of horror while smiling on the inside as her facedown monster card fractured shards.
“I summon the Dark Magician Girl! Unlike the Dark Magician who is a Lvl 7 card, the Dark Magician girl is only a Lvl 6 and therefore only requires one Tribute despite her ability.”
“What ability?” Mai asked, never personally having come across the monster before.
“For every Dark Magician or Magician of Black Chaos in the Graveyard, Dark Magician Girl gains 300 ATK points, placing her at 2300 ATK points.”
As the words left Yugi’s mouth the Dark Magician Girl flexed her arm although nothing came up, to both duelists surprise the Dark Magician Girl put on a face of disappointment. While it was weird for the Duel Arena to cause the holograms to act in such a way Yugi thought nothing of it and played an incredibly powerful spell card. “Mai, you said you wanted to see the card Pegasus gave me. Well here it is. I play the Secret Village of the Spellcasters field card. I can only activate this card if only spellcaster-type monsters are on my side of the field. All I see is the Dark Magician Girl. Get ready Mai because this card is meant to punish. I can now use my Spell and Trap card zones to place equip cards for any of my spellcaster-type monsters. But that’s not all. Neither player can use any spell cards if they do not currently have a spellcaster-type monster on their side of the field, since you don’t have a spellcaster your field spell is destroyed.”
“That’s…. That’s not fair!” Mai said her eyes going wide.
“What did you expect? It’s a card from Pegasus.” Yugi said smirking. “But don’t worry, you can still use Trap cards. Speaking of I would Set them now, playing that card ended my turn.”
“Well Yugi I must say with that you’re forcing me to play my entire hand.” Mai said giving the King of Games the evil eye. “I play both the Harpie Channeler and Harpies' Pet Baby Dragon in defense mode. I don’t have to tribute summon for either because they are both Lvl 4 monsters and with Baby Dragon’s special ability of having one face-up Harpie monster on the field, should you choose to attack you can only attack Baby Dragon. But that’s not all, I Set three Trap cards.” Mai said smiling putting special emphasis on the word trap. Yugi’s field spell card, Secret Village of the Spellcasters, prevented her from playing Spell cards so he would have known the two Set cards were traps but she said that anyways to trick him into not attacking.
“...Fine then Mai, have it your way. I’ll Set this card and play the Spell card Dark Core from my hand! I discard another card from my hand and select one card on your side of the field to banish from the game. I choose that Trap Card.” Yugi said pointing at the middle Set card.
“That’s too bad Yugi, I really needed that card.” Mai pouted reaching for the card but instead of grabbing the card Yugi selected she flipped over the card next to it. “And I will protect it. I activate Fake Trap, instead of the Trap Card you selected being destroyed this card is destroyed instead.” Mai said triumphantly as she moved Fake Trap just outside of the Graveyard since it was being removed from play.
“Now with Fake Traps effect, since you selected a Set Card, I have to reveal and use it.” Mai said as she flipped over Hysteric Party. “I wanted to use it a little later but this will do fine.” She said discarding one card to the Graveyard to activate its effect. “I can now revive as many Harpie cards from the Graveyard as I can… “Which is all of them.”
“What!?” Yugi exclaimed, shocked.
“Surprised Yugi? I’ve been going through every scenario in my head since the Finals, I’m not just ready to beat you. I will. The two facedown monsters you destroyed? My first two Harpie Ladies and the card I just discarded was the third. Now I have a full field of monsters, my three Harpie Ladies, the Harpie Channeler, and the Baby Pet Dragon. And since your turn ended with that Spell it’s mine now and I activate Harpie Channeler’s ability to discard one Harpie monster to Special Summon Harpies’ Dragon from my deck. But I don’t really want to lose any of my Harpie ladies or the Baby Pet Dragon so I’m going to sacrifice the Channeler herself.” Mai said smiling as her monster disappeared and was replaced by a fearsome dragon with 2000 ATK points and 2500 DEF points.”
Yugi looked at the field with dread, Mai was dueling at her best. Smiling to himself he knew this would be a good game. “Although Yugi since you’ve deprived me of using Spell cards I’m just going to have to use another Monster ability. My Harpies’ Pet Baby Dragon has three abilities.
“You know come to think of it my Baby Dragon is stronger than your Dark Magician Girl by 100 ATK points due it's second ability and my Harpie's Pet Dragon ATK has been boosted from 2000 ATK points to 3500 since he against 1200 ATK points from the other Harpie cards on my side of the field, 300 from each card, and gains an additional 300 point from Harpie Lady 1 who increases the ATK of all Wind-attribute monsters." Yugi's knuckles turned white as he realized the odds were stacked heavily against him.
"Your point Mai?" He said bravely.
“I have plenty of options but only one target.”
“My Dark Magician Girl!”
“I’d be a fool to think you don’t have something to protect her so I’ll just skip attacking and use Baby Dragon's third ability.”
“That will leave me defenseless!” Yuri cried as the Dark Magician Girl exploded into holographic shards.
“Oh don’t worry, that ability ends my turn. I hope for your sake you make one heck of a play next turn, or it will be your last.”
Yugi stared out across the Dueling Arena not knowing what he would do. Next turn Mai would attack his Life Points directly with all of her monsters instantly defeating him. What could he do? He only had Spell cards in his hand. “Believe in the heart of the cards Yugi.” He thought to himself. “There’s always a way win.”
“Mai, you should have attacked me when you had the chance.” Yugi said brazenly. “I play the Spellbook of Life Spell card! It allows me to choose two spellcaster-type cards from my Graveyard. One to revive, and one to banish. I choose to revive the Dark Magician Girl and I will banish the Dark Sage, the card I put into my Graveyard to activate the effect of Dark Core. What’s special about this revival is that the Dark Magician Girl’s level increases to that of the Dark Sage granting her an additional three levels.”
“So what? That doesn’t change anything about her.”
“Oh but it does when I play the equip card Bound Wand. It increases Dark Magician Girl’s ATK points by 100 for each level she has increasing her ATK by 900 points. Combined with her ability to gain 300 ATK points from the Dark Magician in my Graveyard she now has an ATK of 3200! Only 300 points less than that of your Pet Dragon!
As the words left Yugi’s mouth he saw the Dark Magician Girl powering up but that wasn’t all. The holographic representation of The Secret Village of the Spellcasters started glowing and the Dark Magician Girl began to change. As her ATK counter rolled upwards 1200 points muscle started coming forth from all parts of her body. Her biceps bunched together and jumped to attention, definition hardening in around them. Deep lines began to etch into her stomach forming a six-pack of abdominals and her legs thickened with muscle. When it was over she looked like a serious fitness competitor.
“That’s… new.” Mai said stunned as she watched the Dark Magician’s Girl transformation. In all her years of Duel Monsters she had never seen anything like that before. Her amazement only grew as the Dark Magician began flexing her various muscles on purpose, appearing delighted at the rise in her muscles. The Dark Magician Girl confidently looked straight at Mai with a stare that said, “I’m going to defeat you.” Even Yugi was shocked by this but after a minute of staring he calmed himself out of it by thinking it was just a weird glitch in the system because the Dueling Arena software had never seen the combo of Secret Village of the Spellcasters and Spellbook of Life before.
“Okay, to continue my turn I play two more cards! First I play Sage’s Stone. If I have Dark Magician Girl on my side of the field I can summon another Dark Magician from my deck to the field.”
“Oh no you don’t!” Mai said as she flipped over Bottomless Trap Hole. It was a Trap card that would destroy any summoned monster with 1500 ATK points or more, she had been too shocked by the Dark Magician Girl’s transformation to play it when Yugi brought her back from the Graveyard but wasn’t about to let another Dark Magician onto the field. The Dark Magician Girl was teasingly flexing her muscles for the Dark Magician who was looking on in with a look of disinterest and maybe even callousness. Suddenly as Mai’s Trap card took effect the Dark Magician cried out in surprise as a hole appeared under him and he plummeted into the Graveyard. The Dark Magician Girl yelped out in shock and shot Mai a death glare as her mentor was destroyed, threateningly flexing all her muscles to try to intimidate her. Not but a second later the Dark Magician Girl’s death glare turned to one of pleasure as her ability took hold and she gained another 300 ATK points from another Dark Magician in the graveyard. She shuddered as her body packed on just a little more muscle. Flexing her muscles again she let loose a cute grin as her bicep flexed up to 15’, a full inch bigger than it had been a moment ago.
“I’m not happy you took out another of my Dark Magicians Mai, but you forget that would only make my Dark Magician Girl stronger!” Yugi called out, trying to ignore his monsters antics as she grew. “She has 3500 ATK points now! Equal to that of your dragon! And to continue my turn I play my last Set Trap card, Shadow Spell on your Pet Dragon! It decreases it’s ATK points by 700 to 2800 and renders it completely immobile, unable to attack or switch to defense mode!”
“You… You still can’t attack! Not until after the turn you summoned her.”
“You’re right Mai. Just like I had one turn to save myself, now so do you. Take your turn.” Yugi said confidently.
Mai looked at her hand helplessly, as much planning as she went into this duel with she wasn’t prepared to fight a monster with 3500 ATK points, a muscular one for that matter. She couldn’t use Harpies’ Pet Baby Dragon’s ability to destroy the same card and while she had a Spell card that might be able to take down the Dark Magician Girl, she couldn’t use it until she destroyed Yugi’s Secret Village of the Spellcasters. Or…
“I use Baby Dragon’s third ability to destroy The Secret Village of the Spellcasters!” Mai announced, pleased with this strategy.
“Good try Mai, in fact I bet that would have turned the tide of this duel back in your favor but I activate my Trap card, Fiends Hand Mirror! It deflects your attack to another target and I choose your Harpie Lady 3.”
“When did you Set that?”
“You may not have noticed I Set it when I brought Dark Magician Girl back from the Graveyard. As unexpected as the result was, I wasn’t about to waste the opportunity; and if you were paying closer attention you would have seen the hologram on the field.”
Mai growled in frustration as her plan was falling apart, this isn’t how it was supposed to go. Harpie Lady 3 had the ability to make any monster it fought to be unable to attack for the next two turns, at least it did before it was sent to the graveyard. She set all her remaining monsters in defense mode, except Harpies’ Pet Dragon who wasn’t able to switch because of Yugi’s Shadow Spell, and ended her turn contemplating her next move. Unlike at the beginning of the duel Yugi had the advantage, but if she could take out the Dark Magician Girl that would change quickly, that was a big if.
“I’m not about to lose my advantage by running blindly into your monsters Mai.” Yugi said as he played a Spell card from his hand, Tribute to the Doomed. Mai watched in dismay as her Harpies’ Pet Baby Dragon exploded into shards from the Spells effect, she could no longer take out cards from the field each turn. Mai wasn’t able to dwell on it as the Dark Magician Girl hunched over, her lightweight bodybuilder muscles rippling angry as they expanded another inch putting her at 16 inch biceps, strong defined abs, and thick legs. When the growth was over the Dark Magician Girl started flexed her right arm and felt the rock-hard muscle with her other hand, looking quite pleased with herself.
“But Tribute to the Doomed doesn’t raise her attack power!” Mai exclaimed as she saw the Dark Magician Girl’s strength had increased to 3800.
“You’re right it doesn’t Mai. But the card I discarded to activate Tribute to the Doomed does, I sacrificed my last Dark Magician. Now I’m going to continue my turn. First I Set this card.” Yugi said as he put the Spell or Trap card facedown on the field. “…And summon the Magician’s Valkyria in attack position. It’s not a special card by any means…” Yugi trailed off as he saw the Dark Magician Girl once again flexing but this time for the monster he had just placed on the field. Magician’s Valkyria came over to the Dark Magician Girl and felt the flexed bicep, squeezing it lovingly, running her hand over it as the buffed-up monster tried to get an even bigger pump out of her arm. “…As I was saying the Magician’s Valkyria only has 1600 ATK and 1800 DEF but prevents my other Spellcaster-type monsters from being targeted.” Yugi finished dryly as he saw the Dark Magician Girl put her hands on her hips and flex all her muscles, just a moment later Valkyria mimicked the pose in front of her counterpart in a, 'I’ve got your back' gesture. “I’ll also Set this card on the field and end my turn.” Yugi said putting down a Spell or Trap card in the designated zone.
Mai drew a card to begin her turn and looked at it coolly. Even with her years of practice dueling and working on her poker face as to not give anything away, she nearly cracked a smile. It was exactly the kind of card she needed, if she was going to win against Yugi and his Dark Magician Girl with any card, it would be this card. But she couldn’t use it, that depended solely on Yugi. And if he was doing what she thought he was, she was going to win this duel.
“I’ll Set this Trap card and end my turn.” Mai said. “There’s nothing else I can do.”
“Well then allow me.” Yugi said as he instructed the Dark Magician Girl to attack Mai’s Harpies’ Pet Dragon.
“Not today Yugi.” Mai said as she flipped over one of her three Set cards. “I activate Dimension Wall.” She smiled as Yugi’s Dark Magician Girl rushed to destroy her monster. Right as the Dark Magician Girl attacked Harpies’ Pet Dragon and blazing wall appeared between them. This hardly discouraged the Dark Magician Girl as she tensed her entire body, her muscles jumping to attention, as she surrounded herself in magical energy before launching it at Mai’s monster. The magical attack flew straight through the wall set up by the Trap card, Dimensional Wall, and destroyed Harpies’ Pet Dragon.
“Looks like your Trap card failed Mai.”
“Oh Yugi, Dimension Wall doesn’t stop the attack. What it does is switch which duelist takes the Battle Damage.”
“What!?”
“Just look at your Life Points drop. You were already at 3600 but now it’s dropping like a rock.” Mai teased him as the counter spun downwards rapidly. “I mean the Dark Magician Girl was significantly stronger than my dragon. And to think it used to have 3500 ATK points before you attacked it. How unfortunate, after all you were the one that weakened it. It started with 2000 but received 1200 points from my other monsters and 300 more from my Harpy Lady 1’s buff of Wind-archetype monsters. But then you killed its ATK by 700 with Shadow Chains and another 300 for each of the two monsters you destroyed. You only have yourself to blame really.” Mai teased him as the 1600 ATK point difference was deducted form Yugi’s Life Points leaving him at 2000.
“I wasn’t the one that was played Mai.” Yugi said grinning. “I knew you would be desperate to protect yourself against the overwhelming strength of my Dark Magician Girl and what better way than to take out my Life Points, something much harder to protect with Spell and Trap cards than a single monster? By baiting me into the attack you allowed me to play my Trap card, Magician’s Circle! Since an attack was declared with a Spellcaster-type monster both of us are required to take a Spellcaster-type monster out of our decks and put it on the field.”
“But I don’t have any Spellcasters!”
“Exactly Mai.” Yugi said as he played the Alchemist of Black Spells. It was a Lvl 4 Spellcaster with 1200 ATK and 1800 DEF. But what Yugi really wanted? It’s ability to change from ATK to DEF mode and place a Spell Counter on another card.
“But he doesn’t have any other cards he could place a Spell Counter on.” Mai thought to herself. “Perfect, that means he’s summon at least one more monster meaning he’ll have four on the field.” Mai glanced at the last Trap card she had set. Soon.
“That’s not the end of my turn.” I normal summon the monster card: Defender, the Magical Knight. Defender has the unique ability of being able to consume Spell Counters in order to protect my Spellcasters, which just in case you can counter I have Magician’s Valkyria to protect my Dark Magician Girl. On top of that I can use this reoccuringly because of Alchemist of Black Spells. “Try getting through that Mai.”
Mai just smiled back at Yugi and placed Harpie Harpist and Phantom Gryphon on her side of the field in defense mode. It did not escape Yugi’s notice that Harpist, when normal summoned can send one of his monsters back to his hand as long as Mai had a winged-beast type monster to do the same. “What is she up too?” He thought. “Since an ability like that wouldn’t have destroyed my Dark Magician Girl it would have bypassed Valkyria, Defender, and Alchemist’s defenses. And despite the fact that I could bring her back the next turn with a single tribute it still would have destroyed the ATK bonus she gets from Spellbook of Life.”
“Your turn Yugi.” Mai said cheerily, knowing what he would do, she would win in two turns if Yugi fell into her trap.
“Okay I play my final monster card, Silent Magician Lv.4.”
“Yes, do it!” Mai thought.
Yugi stopped just before he put the card on the field to activate it and drew it back. Reconsidering his move Yugi put a Set card facedown before putting Silent Magician on the field.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yugi I can’t believe you fell for it!” Mai giggled as she flipped over her Trap card, Flash of the Forbidden Spell. “I can only play this card once you have all five of your monster slots full, Yugi. I actually wanted you to get all the monsters you could on your field. When this Trap card activates all your monsters are destroyed and since it’s a multi-target attack it doesn’t qualify for Valkyria or Defender’s abilities.” The Dark Magician Girl and Valkyria looked back at Yugi, concern on their faces. A duo of actions the holograms should not have been able to perform. Defender and Alchemist looked solemn as usual and though the holograms couldn’t actually make noise anyways the Silent Magician was fittingly quiet.
“I would have hoped your entire strategy didn’t rely on one card Mai.” Yugi said smiling as he flipped over the Trap card he had Set before summoning the Silent Magician. “Trap Jammer, Mai. Your plan just failed. But even though I could end the duel on this turn I’m not going too. I’m going to give a duelist of your caliber a real loss.”
“What do you mean?” Yugi played the Spell card, Card Destruction from his hand in response. Both duelists had to discard their entire hands and draw a new one, a full hand of five cards.
“I had two motivations for that Mai. For starters Silent Magician gains a Spell Counter for every card you just drew and once he has five I can Special Summon Silent Magician Lv. 8 from my deck in his place. Just in case your last Trap card is a nasty one.” Yugi announced as Silent Magician Lv.4 disappeared and his Lv. 8 counterpart appeared in his place with 3500 ATK points. To his surprise the Dark Magician Girl frowned at this and rolled her shoulders glaring at the newcomer since his ATK was close to hers. Next she looked pleadingly at Yugi to see if he could do anything to widen the gap. Fortunately for her that is exactly what Yugi was doing. “I also had a feeling that I was going to get a lot of equip cards since I haven’t seen any in a long time. With The Secret Village of the Spellcasters Field card I can use all five of my Spell and Trap card zones to use for equip cards on a monster of my choosing in addition to being able to place a single equip card on a monster.”
The Dark Magician Girl’s eyes shined upon hearing this. The she appeared to grunt as Yugi placed down his first equip card for her. “Magic Formula, it will increase her ATK points by 700.” The Dark Magician Girl visibly shuddered as she felt her muscles contract and expand adding two more inches onto her already impressive frame. Her biceps now at slightly larger than 18 inches she was starting to look like a heavyweight bodybuilder, what little clothes she had on stretched out by her muscles and her expanding bust. Her ATK power now at an astounding 4500, rivaling that of Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. “And Mage Power, giving her 500 ATK points for every Spell and Trap card I control, including this one. That adds up to five cards for a total of 2500 ATK points." Yuri said smugly. Although his vanished the instant he realized he heard the Dark Magician Girl grunt as she began to grow again, that shouldn't have been possible. Quickly doing the math in his head he Yugi realized that his monsters ATK power was about to hit 7000, the strongest monster Yugi had ever seen.
The Dark Magician herself was gasping in pleasure as she felt her muscles violently ripple and roll across her body as they expanded larger and larger. This burst of strength was unlike any Yugi had given her so far as her biceps went from 18’, to 20’, to 23’, to 26 inches of pure unbridled might. Her former bodybuilder abs went from a heavily defined six-pack to a ripped eight-pack with inch-deep crevices between her ridiculously defined muscles, each of which looked so larger they must have weight multiple pounds each. The Dark Magician Girl’s legs, which had always been nice, expanded from round calves and meaty quads to gigantic muscles that simply oozed might as she flexed them achieving a perfect horseshoe-shaped calf as it and her quads exploded in size and hardness. As her mountainous back settled down into valleys, the growth ceasing, the Dark Magician girl experimentally flexed all her muscles for her fellow monsters; giggling as she felt the ridiculous size they grew too. The Silent Magician raised an eyebrow at both the Dark Magician Girl’s size and what little her outfit covered as it was being strained to the absolute limits but in the end did what he did best, remain silent. The Alchemist of Black Spells shook, looking at the Dark Magician Girl a little lovingly and quickly whipped up a potion to calm his nerves. He was still shaking after he took the draught so whipped up a stronger one, which quickly knocked him out. The Dark Magician Girl pouted from having her admirer lose consciousness so turned to Defender, the Magical Knight. He was completely ambivalent about what just happened, that or he couldn’t see out of his full helmet. Turning to her last ally, Magician’s Valkyria, the Dark Magician Girl flexed as hard as she could. Valkyria blushed as she saw the Dark Magician’s Girl’s abs harden and arms rise. Once again walking over the Dark Magician Girl, Valkyria felt the spellcaster’s amazing physical strength. She couldn’t even dent her muscles no matter how hard she tried, the Dark Magician Girl was utterly impenetrable and cooing at her touch, which both Yugi and Mai heard.
Not immune to the Dark Magician Girl themselves, Yugi regretted wearing his tight jeans and Mai felt her breathing quicken as they looked at the incredibly muscular mage.
“I…I play my last equip card, United We Stand. It grants 800 ATK points for every friendly monster on the field and a 500 bonus from Mage Power.” Yugi stammered out, whether from the intimidation or mild arousal he was experiencing he wasn’t sure.
The Dark Magician Girl smiled blissfully when the growth took over once again, her muscles pulsating as they pushed outwards. Valkyria gasped as she felt the Dark Magician Girl’s biceps push against her hand, her blush deepening until her face looked red from embarrassment. She started to take her hand away but the Dark Magician Girl grabbed it and placed it back. Surprised, but certainly not indignant Valkyria caressed the muscular mage’s large muscles, biting her lips wondering just what it was like to be that strong. She was so wrapped up in worshipping the Dark Magician Girl that she hardly noticed when the last vestiges of the monsters clothing began to tear, unable to contain the surging muscles any longer. Just a moment before the Dark Magician Girl lost her dignity, the Silent Magician raised his staff, pointing it at her, and conjured a new, larger, set of clothes on her. She looked gratefully at the Silent Magician before turning her attention back to her worshipper and gave Valkyria a quick peck on the cheek, giggling like a little girl. The other mage lightly touched where the Dark Magician Girl had kissed her and smiled a little dumbly looking quite content. She was quickly snapped back to her senses as the Dark Magician Girl went into a full body flex, her now eight-pack abdominals transforming into a steel wall that would intimidate the toughest of all warrior-type monsters, her legs exploded out in size and vascularity nearly touching from their sheer size, and her arms were monuments of power that none could match. Valkyria’s breathing quickened as she took in the sight, for that matter so did Yugi and Mai as the Dark Magician Girl finished transforming from her 2900 increase in ATK power, placing her at an incredible 9900 ATK points.
“Yugi… What in the hell did Pegasus give you?” Mai asked unable to ignore the muscular mage for another second.
“She’s just a monster card Mai.” Yugi said trying to convince himself of that. The Dark Magician Girl shot him a look of annoyance in response, he gulped.
First the Dark Magician Girl had acted alive, then she had grown, then he had heard her, none of that should have happened and yet here she was, her hands on her hips confidently glaring at Mai ready to take away her Life Points while Valkyria fawned over her.
“I’m going to end the duel this turn Mai.” Yugi said he played the second to last Spell card from his hand, Stop Defense. Her monsters were forced into attack mode, leaving them open to damage her Life Points from the difference in monsters strength.
“Might as well make you work for it.” Mai breathed out, defeated, as she flipped over her last Set Trap card, Spirit Barrier. Now she wouldn’t take damage to her Life Points from monster battles as long as she had one monster on the field. Of course Yugi still had more monsters than she did.
“Silent Magician attack!” Yugi ordered. The Magician rushed forward and struck Mai’s Phantom Gryphon in the chest with his staff before discharging a magical attack from it utterly obliterating the monster. “Defender! Valkyria! Cut down her harpies!” The two monsters rushed forward to meet Mai’s.
“Those two monsters aren’t strong enough to beat mine Yugi!”
“Mai, with Secret Village of the Spellcasters as long as I only have Spellcaster-type monsters on the field when in battle they lend each other a helping hand giving them an extra 500 ATK points for the duration of this battle.”
Valkyria stopped mid-rush at Mai’s monsters as the ATK increase surged through her and her muscles expanded by nearly two inches, giving her a little definition in her slender arms and abdominals. She looked pleased and briefly ran her hand over her abs lovingly before concern flashed across her face as she realized she was in the middle of a battle. Defender barely dodged a strike from Mai’s Harpist and then with a follow-up attack was kicked back. As Harpist was about to deliver a fatal blow Valkyria appeared out of a magical portal behind her and blasted her with a magic attack, stunning her. Defender wordlessly took the advantage to run his sword through Harpist. Next he did a full turn, shoving Harpist off his blade, and raised his large shield just in time to protect Valkyria from Harpie Lady 2’s attack. Valkyria looked jarred from shock as Defender barely saved her in time and looked at the Dark Magician Girl across the field. The stupendously muscular magician looked reassuringly back at her with a smile and a wink. Valkyria smiled before turning back to Harpy Lady 2 and tore her apart with a magic attack.
“Well Yugi it looks like I’ll survive another turn. I’ve still got my Harpie Lady 1 and the only monster you have to take her down is your Dark Magician Girl. Not only will I take no battle damage because of Spirit Barrier but your Alchemist isn’t strong enough to take down all of my Life Points and that’s ignoring the fact he knocked himself out.” Mai said smiling. Even if she was undoubtedly going to lose once again to Yugi she would make it one more turn.
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that Mai.” Yugi smiled back as he held up the last Spell card in his hand, one of the two cards left. “I activate Double Attack, by discarding the other card in my hand I can select one of my monsters to attack twice and I think you know which monster I select.” The Dark Magician Girl’s eyes rolled back in her head as she started shuddering.
“Why isn’t she attacking?” Mai asked a little unnerved by the display.
“The card I discarded wasn’t just any card, it was the Magician of Black Chaos. And remember the Dark Magician Girl’s ability is to grow 300 ATK points stronger for every Dark Magician or Magician of Black Chaos in my Graveyard.” Yugi said smiling.
“Then that means…”
“Yes, her ATK just crested 10000 points at 10200 even.”
“But that’s impossible!”
“Oh really? I’d answer you myself but I think the Dark Magician Girl would rather take the reigns on this one.” Yugi said smirking.
The Dark Magician Girl recovered her wits and looked at her bigger, even more muscular body. She appraised it for a couple seconds. Her eight-pack, which had already shown signs of forming a ten-pack of abdominals, now proudly showcased ten gigantic steel abs. Not only that but they were showcased by large, ridiculously shredded obliques, so ripped they almost looked like ribbing. Next she moved on to her legs, squeezing them for effect as even her magnanimous strength couldn’t so much as dent them. Moving her attention down to her calves, she flexed and unflexed them watching in glee as the ball-shaped muscle on the back of her lower leg rolled up and down. It was so large, so impenetrable, so perfect, and she could move it around with ease. Saving the best for last, the Dark Magician Girl moved on to her arms. Doing a single flex with them she guessed they had to be at least 37 or 38 inches of pure raw power. Hearing a thump the Dark Magician Girl looked over and saw Valkyria splayed out on the ground. She had fainted from the sight, rather pleased that she had this effect on her the Dark Magician Girl looked back at Mai’s one remaining monster and walked up to it threateningly, making her muscles known to the poor, pitiful, cowering creature. The Dark Magician Girl grabbed it with her hand and punched it with the other, not even needing to use her magic to defeat the weakling Harpie Lady as it exploded into holographic shards.
“You win Yugi.” Mai finally announced as the Dark Magician Girl started charging up to attack Mai’s Life Points.
The mage’s entire body tensed as her figure filled up with flexed muscle and crackled with magical energy. Despite it just being a duel and the Dark Magician Girl was a hologram, Mai instinctively stepped back as she saw Yugi’s monster literally pulse with power. Her eyes glowing from the massive amount of magical energy, the Dark Magician Girl raised a single muscular arm and unleashed a blast of such epic proportions that it actually blinded Yugi and Mai for a split second as it crashed into Mai’s Life Points.
When their vision cleared Yugi and Mai saw that her Life Points had gone from 4000 to -6200 from the single ultra-powerful attack. The system corrected itself a moment later and zeroed the negative value placing Mai at 0 Life Points, she had lost the duel.

I know it was for entertainment purposes but mia should have won. Because soul exchange says you can special summon one monster however if that monster is destroyed your opponent wins The Duel.

No it's not, I ran through all the math again. I'm honestly not sure where you got that number from.

Well, the math is right, but you got some of the effects wrong. Bottomless Trap Hole banishes for an example and Spellbook of Life increases the level of DMG even more to a 15, but yeah, it doesn't matter good story still

Pretty sure you can only play one monster per turn except for special summons

It's the anime. They don't play by Konami's rules to begin with. XD

Really? That's interesting. I must have a copy of the card from before that. Of course, in the end it didn't really matter.
And thanks for the kind words! Like you said in your note, "Even Exodia can't stop her now!"

Some older cards got errata'd, like Harpie's Brother into Sky Scout. Hell, Sinister Serpent got a new, less OP effect. Now if you will excuse me, I need to give DMG Megamorph.
