But I have a stupid question.
I been using foobar for a long time, I can even do some coding.
The one thing that has alluded me is placing some of the items above the playlist.
It just does not want to go. How did you get yours like that?

If your using columnsUI, then go to 'Preferences' then click the 'Other' tab, and check the 'List all toolbars' box. Now, you can place all the panels as toolbars (i.e. above the playlist). You may need to change some of the panels/components preferences, and adjust the 'Minimum panel height' value, so that they don't shrink..
