The colors stands out to me the most. In some areas, the color is more intense. This makes the red, lime green, and yellow pop. Other colors, like the blue green are darker in comparison. Although some colors are stronger, paler yellow and blue-green round out the painting. This keeps the other colors from appearing too garish. Aside from the colors, I find the use of objects in this image to be interesting. It reminds me of iconography or symbols. I'm curious about what these things mean- the feathers, the heart, the sphere, the water, and submerged face. I won't attempt suggest what these things mean, but I can say this image is certainly thought provoking.
