Had to doctored this one up in photoshop to get the blues correct. I hate taking pics of my art with a camera.Alot of things inspired this piece. Watching the old Wildfire cartoon, looking at Bella Sara cards......... wanted to try something. Saw the pose in my head for once. Most of the time, I don't se the piece till it's on paper.
Love the earring though.

Oh, this is so pretty! I love the draping and the beads especially. Very graceful. And the blue mane and feathering on her feet look great.

When th legs don't look right to me, I add the feathering to hide it.

i really like this! and i have to agree, i hate taking photographs of my art work, which is funny because i'm a photographer too- anyhow. i'd rather scan in my work- it is more accurate- i have found blues don't always translate by camera the way i want them to. i love the earrings (i do see two hoops right? lol)

Blues, purples and some reds tend to not do will. Reds bleed more in digital.
