I think they're not normal humans, they resemble to a real human but maybe their skin is not even flesh? Maybe they're made from fondant? In that case, lots of sugar is HEALTHY for them hehe

You bring up a good point, but I think the Sugar Rush folks can get away with it because of the nature of their video game. They don't age, so they don't have to worry about getting sick or developing conditions like diabetes. Though all that sugar must make for a dull taste palate after a while.

I haven't seen Wreck-It Ralph, but this is a great piece of fanart!! I love how you took something silly that characterized Vanellope's world and gave it a more pragmatic look. Of course, kids' movies are meant to be silly and full of candy, but your piece is amusing and thought-provoking because it doesn't just blindly accept that kids' movies can do whatever they want with consequences.

The lineart here is really well done--I like that it's not perfectly clean, but still has a sketchy feel to it. I will say that because it's a black and white drawing, there should be a bit more variation in the shading so that all the lines don't look the same. A few darker places here and there coupled with some softer shading in other areas will help the whole piece really pop.

Great addition of the insulin shot, measuring apparatus, and gauze pads! Those little details really tie together the whole message of the picture.

Keep up the good work! You should definitely give this a shot with coloring, it'd look even more impressive.
