Finally finished the flat color for the lovely and patient - Sorry it took a while for me to get to it!

Digitigrade legs are hell in which I walked any time I did official work because I just. I cannot draw them. So much respect for how this came out!

They can def. be tricky, even moreso between certain species.. But it all comes down to the joints and the way the leg flows with them. That, and making sure the body's center of gravity is balanced and centered on them. Otherwise you get a bent leg or tip-toe effect. They take a lot of practice if you're used to drawing plantigrade legs all the time. @_@

I really need to study more animal anatomy. I'm used to the isometric trick we use on official anthro avatars where the knee should line up with the tips of the toes in the static/first standing pose, but I know like nothing else for how to draw them. PRACTICE. Practice is needed!

I have this, it helps a lot though still needs some modifying to make it anthro-friendly. But like you said, practice!
