Played Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy - and wanted to make some fanart. Nothing too spoilish since our American friends still haven't got the newest game, and I don't feel like ruining anyone's experience. Layton games have such a lovely artstyle, it inspires me to no end. While drawing I kept listening Hatsune Miku's Rolling girl and sang "one more time". It's been a while since you've uploaded this picture, but thanks all the same for not spoiling anything. Nothing's worse than jumping into a series late and getting things spoiled for you by fanart made years before you even knew what the series was.
This is a very nice picture that emulates the PL art style wonderfully. This image might make more sense if it was horizontal, but the emotion is defintiely much stronger this way. Emmy's expression really helps sell the emotion too.

Oh how I know the feeling..! While I love reading about people's thoughts/seeing their art, it does take away from those that have yet to be familiar with the original work. My own creations tend to be more symbolic than realistic, so even if they foreshadow certain things they are not raw illustrations about those events. The people who are familiar with the original work will get more out of them. I didn't really plan my works like that, but it's in my nature to depict things that haven't already been shown.

You did a very good job of setting a mood with this picture without giving anything away. If I saw this piece before I watched Azran Legacy, I think it only would have made me more interested in seeing what happens because it's so impactful, but open-ended. Very nice job!
Considering I've seen fanart that's spoiled the one thing about Twilight Princess that wasn't already spoiled for me, I definitely appreciate your emphasis on symbolism and abstract scenery over out-and-out depictions of revelations.

I really hope they make a game after unwound future. I might be wrong, but I think at the end of unwound future, it said "To be continued..."

I would be over the moon too. They left a possibility for a sequel, but I'm afraid they want to move on to different series. Still I don't want to give up hope that some day we could enjoy an adventure with all these lovely characters including Layton, Luke, Flora, Emmy etec.

Yes oh yes..! I love and hate how the third game ended, it was so sad that Luke had to go. And it's painful to think that Emmy hasn't contacted her friends for god knows how long. I'd really want to see a canon reunion of all these lovely characters, can't bear the thought of them being seperated. I also have this hopeless wish that Clive could join them again when he gets released from either jail or asylum.

Itekin oon ollu ihan kamalan laiska devan käyttäjä kiitos töiden, joten ymmärrän hyvin muiden epäaktiivisuutta. Lisäksi devin laatu on kärsinyt aika pahasti ja kilpailevat sivustot houkutelleet ihmisiä.
Mutta joo kannattaa kyllä pelata Laytonit jos tilaisuus sallii. Aluksi voi tuntua vähän siltä että plääh, mutta niihin jää oikeasti koukkuun... ja pahasti. Hyviä tarinoita ja ihanaa animaatiota.
