it is wierd that you can buy more then two weapons but can't buy more than one boot

Weapons stack differently, while you can have several different boots on your hero (and thus several boot effects) the movement speed does not stack.
Ergo you would be wasting your Money if you try to go faster by getting like 4 boots just to outrun everyone.
