This is actually a concept!) it's my vision of Atreides Army Unit.
For this particular piece I imagined the tank silhouette firsts and when started modeling it. No preliminary sketches for this one. It's my own idea.

if you need some inspiration, in the early days of RTS-games, Westwood released a game called Emperor: Battle for Dune. It has a lot of tanks and structures in it

I played that game. By the time they couldn't use hi-polygonal model so units looked basically like bricks)) that's one of the reasons I started this series of concept in Dune Universe.
I like to reimagine and redesign some known things.
There were a lot of good ideas in Emperor.

any release purpose yet? I'm sure there are some promising Dune projects and mods out there, is it even possible to make your models ingame ready?

Actually, this pic (and the whole series) was done for my personal collection. This serves several purposes: I need work to do for upgrading my skills and I need some work to show here on DA (as you can see, this is my first day). Besides the Dune is my favorite book.
