No. I didn't even played Warhammer myself ever so I don't know why you think so.
I imagined this thing and then started modeling it in 3d. It has some happy accidents in it shape.
I just love some brute force in machinery

I only thought so because in W40K there is an APC named the Rhino but after looking up pics of the W40K Rhino realized I was in error.

Well it is an APC only the Space Marines used I believe, but yes.
