Species: Maranaga (Banded Sea Krait subtype)

Other important Physical Traits: Anik's body is flattened and adapted for aquatic movement; because of this he is also rather slow-moving and awkward on land. In attempting to move about on land and his highly active lifestyle in the sea he has developed a rather lean and muscular body as well, which he takes great pride in. Critique of it (his physique) is taken quite seriously. It is also worth noting that his sexual organs are much closer to what humans would currently consider a "female" arrangement, though he is not a nagini (nor is he female-gendered--that would only be assumed by humans who link genital appearance to actual gender). He has never encountered any gender discrimination before and, like a critique to any other part of his physicality, would sting his ego rather badly.

Personality: Anik is a lovely and handsome puzzle--quiet and meek in action, yet friendly when approached calmly. Though he is indeed a quiet person in most situations, he tends to be rather direct and physically assertive, and he takes great pride in his strength and his skill in the sea, especially his hunting prowess. For a Maranaga, he is fairly unceremonious with his kills and tends to be a braggart, a show-off--this sometimes frightens any visitors he gets. As well as unceremonious with the dead he's also surprisingly shameless about most things. He is only inhibited when it comes to words, which he chooses carefully, seldom overtalking or rambling.
Likes/Favorites: Squid and octopus (nom-noms), the ocean, being told he's handsome (^^), ticklefights, jokes and puns, non-competitive games, hunting for fishies, soft sand, sexual thangs,
