Cute little cartoons of when things are going normally. The Daycare Attendant is so very good at what it does--no matter what mode it's in. Moon-mode is for naptimes and quiet hours, and just due to lighting and timings tends to be what mode Sun/Moon's in during the additional Security Mode between 12 am and 6 am... though in normal times, that Security Mode is not as blatantly terrifying and messed-up, and definitely not loaded up with robot mind-control glitches! terminator-red light sensors behind them, but they're not going to hurt you unless you're actively attacking a guard or snatching a kid or something under normal circumstances. XD More likely, it'll totally dumpster you and knock you off your feet, then huck you over its shoulder like a sack of flour and hand you over to the nearest holding space until the police arrive, functioning as intended.

Moon's gathering kiddos for the naptime period that happens right after midday. Sometimes, in the 5 pm-7 pm times, there's also an extra special theater thing for the rugrats which handlers trigger the Moon setting for--the setting is photosensitive of course, and changes its base behavior to be much more inclined towards being calm, quiet, and a bit sing-songy in a way that is very difficult to act against despite Sun/Moon being sentient. It's important for my stuff to note that Sun and Moon are not different personalities... robot psyche is not exactly like human one and so the different Modes don't accurately mimic DID/systems at all (I also really don't want to copy the awful trope of DID sufferers or "split personalities" meaning a typical good person has an "evil side", since that's a whole nasty thing in fiction...). Sun and Moon are one and the same and while there's a shift in what programming it has access to depending on that (while it remains aware of what its other modes are permitted to do, and if it tries very hard to act around its programming it can technically act against its Mode), its memory and other mental things are synchronous between Modes!
