We are all different people all through our lives and that's okay, that's good you've got to keep moving so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.
I will not forget one line of this, not one day, I swear. I will always remember when The Doctor was me... *Drops bow tie*

My Heart Sank when I saw him drop the Bowtie, That's how you knew it was truly over for the 11th Doctor.

This is absolutely brilliant, while I admittedly didn't like this scene much (mostly due to the way it was edited/cut), I loved the speech, it showed the growth that the Doctor had gone through from series 5 to then, excepting change and endings.
This painting though, this is absolutely beautiful, it looks a tonne like Matt. The extra regeneration energy is also a nice touch.

I'm happy to admit that 11 is my Doctor and I think you have captured the perfect essence of what The Doctor was losing when 11 regenerated, he lost the childish essence he had as a being a young man physically and now it's 12's turn to see the light. And after seeing the first episode with 12, I have to admit, he's already one of my favorites. X3
Cheers to Matt Smith and his wonderful time as The Doctor.

Am I the only one who wasn't that sad over Eleven's regeneration? He and his era were never really my favorite, though(that would be Nine for me ^^) so that could be the reason.

its sad when any doctor says goodbye you grow attached to each actor that puts a little bit of themselves into the doctor and enriches our lives with his many adventures. Every doctor had their qualities and their good moments and made us love him all the more. While each time we say goodbye to a dear friend we look forward to making a new one.
