So I roughed this out just before I got Pokemon X, while I was watching some videos on youtube of the romhack, Pokemon Ash Grey. While it was somewhat nostalgic to recall some episodes I grew up with ages ago, I couldn't get past how bad the story was...and how horrible of a Pokemon Trainer Ash is.

So I thought it might be fun to reimagine the series the way I would like to see it done...A little darker, and with all the character's motivations more belivable! I mean, the premise of the series I think makes no sense, if you think about it: Why is Team Rocket following a pretty bad Pokemon trainer all over the world, just to try to steal his Pikachu? I mean, it's a common Pokemon which you could just catch in the grass in various places in almost every region...and at fairly low levels! They could've had an army of Pikachu if they wanted, and they wouldn't even have to go through the trouble of stealing them!

...And why does Giovanni keep letting them spend (billions?) of dollars on elaborate contraptions; again for just one super-common Pokemon?

So here's my take on the characters...I'll include a little sliver of "my version" of their bio in their individual profiles. I hope you dig 'em!
