Holy moses. I drew this this afternoon, and then started coloring it around 11:30 at night. It's almost 2am now, I'm going to crawl into bed after posting this. XP

I am really proud of this one. I feel like I accomplished something with this piece. It's been a while since I did a "serious" piece of artwork. It feels good to do it again!

Sorry for the crooked ground, my scanner loves making me look bad. But then again, he is bent, so I hope that helps with the retardedness.

This mustang's coloring is called Dunlino, a mix of Dun & Palomino. Hopefully it looks like the lasso is about to catch or miss him. But you have to decide which! Do you think he'll get wrangled? The lasso isn't coming out of nowhere, I didn't want to show his captor so the main focus would be the mustang. The black circle thing on his lower back/bum is supposed to be the lasso's shadow. Hope it looks that way...
