I think even if Zero wanted to cry, he probably isn't programmed to do it which is something I will mention in my fan fiction, Steph And The Characters. I don't think Iris and the others can cry either and I know X does in the mangas. But I think they can if they can find the right programming.

I'm honestly not sure why but Zero kinda reminds me of Shadow The Hedgehog they both loose a caring friend,They're both enemies/rivals with a Hero,they have evil inside them,etc

That was such a sad scene.
I really felt for Zero there.
Why Capcom killed off Iris after X4 really puzzled me. I thought she was a wonderful companion to Zero.
