Recap: Optimus Prime has died at the hands of Galvatron and Hot Rod had become Rodimus Prime. James McCloud (father of Fox McCloud) had returned from his dimensional prison after spending twenty years alone and unable to see his son until he received help from the Thirteen Original Prime’s and an old friend to both Fox and Krystal.)

Five months after the return of James McCloud Fox and sometimes Krystal visit the body of Optimus Prime which has not been moved ever since he died ten years ago. When either one them visits him they go up by his head hoping that one day his dead black eyes will turn back on and glow a bright blue light once again. One day both Fox and Krystal decided to visit him together only to find out that he was missing from the room. Just then Peppy and Ratchet then received a video transmission from a Corneria base on Zoness and the video feed showed that they were under attack by an the Decepticons and suddenly the doors that were said to even keep out Galvatron himself we’re busted off their hinges and killed several Autobot soldiers in the process as well as crushing twenty Corneria soldiers. The remaining soldiers of both Autobot and Corneria then aimed their weapons at the doorway and waited for who ever was attacking to come out. Just when they were about to lower their weapons to take a look down the dark corridor a figure then came charging out at the remaining Autobot soldiers and began to slaughter them along with the remaining Corneria soldiers. Eventually the figure saw that it was being recorded and took out its blaster and fired it at who ever was recording after they said. “Please send help!!!!” then static……. “Wait a minute go back to the moment before it goes to static and zoom in on that Decepticon.” said Ratchet as he realized something about the figure in the video. Just as the video feed was being played back a Decepticon video message was being transmitted to all vessels and planets in the entire Lylat system. When the message began to play Peppy was shocked to see that it was the Decepticon from the base attack footage and it looked like Optimus Prime but Optimus was dead. “Rodimus Prime, if you are listening to this transmission I “Nemesis Prime” challenge you in combat for possession of the Matrix No Arwings, No team, No blasters I want a fair clean fight.” said Nemesis. The Great Fox II was near Titania and the Star Fox team and the Autobots were listening and they were shocked to see a Decepticon Optimus Prime. “I thought you said he was a good friend to all?” said Marcus. “He’s supposed to be a hero, an inspiration, not this dark….thing.” said Rodimus with disbelief in his voice. “I will be waiting for you and your little blue pet near the James McCloud memorial on Papetoon. Do not keep me waiting for long.” said Nemesis as the message ended. Back on Corneria Fox and Krystal went to see Peppy to tell him that Optimus Prime’s body was gone and Peppy told them that a base on Zoness was attacked by the Decepticons and one that looks like Optimus who goes by the name “Nemesis Prime” just sent out a transmission to all of Lylat including all vessels in Lylat and what shocked both Fox and Krystal was the fact that Nemesis was looking for Rodimus and challenged him to combat and someone he called. “His little blue pet.” After Peppy said that Fox and Krystal suddenly realized who he was talking about and said. “Peppy, Nemesis was talking about our son.” said Fox. “Why would he want your son to be involved?” asked Peppy. “Nemesis wants Marcus to watch Rodimus die right in front of him like how me and Fox watched Optimus die right in front of us.” said Krystal. Back with the Star Fox team everyone was wondering why Nemesis Prime wanted Marcus to be with Rodimus. “This doesn’t make any sense, why would Nemesis want Marcus there?” asked Miyu. “I don’t know but we have to agree to his terms because we don’t know what would happen if we don’t agree to his terms.” said Rodimus. “If that’s the case then, Marcus you need to leave your blaster here because he said no blasters.” said Falco as he pointed to Marcus’s blaster. As Marcus took his blaster out of his holster he then said. “If Rodimus losses and I get killed in the process. I want all of you to keep my blaster in memory of me and tell my mom and dad that I will forever love them and Falco, you and Jazz are in charge until we get back.” said Marcus as he handed his blaster to his closest friend Slidey then he and Rodimus made their way to the spacebridge in the main hangar bay on the Great Fox II. “Wheeljack, set the spacebridges coordinates for Papetoon we’re going to confront Nemesis Prime.” Said Rodimus in a tone that was mostly used by Optimus Prime years ago. “When I received the transmission, I set the coordinates for Papetoon knowing that both of you would come down here and say that.” said Wheeljack as he activated the spacebridge. “If you win, make sure that you bring Nemesis Prime’s body because I get the feeling that he is not a normal Cybertronian like us.” asked Wheeljack. “I’ll try, but remember I may be a Prime now but I don’t have Optimus’s strength.” said Rodimus. “Don’t worry I’ll try to figure out a way for you to beat him.” said Marcus as he and Rodimus began to walk through the spacebridge. They then arrived on Papetoon and they saw that they arrived in one of the many towns on Papetoon only to find it dead silent and dark clouds filled the sky. “Rodimus can you……?” asked Marcus before Rodimus said. “Scan to see if there are any civilians here. Way ahead of you Marcus.” said Rodimus as a visor came down over his eyes and began to scan for any civilians and to his surprise everyone was hiding in the buildings. “Marcus everyone is hiding from something.” said Rodimus. “Or hiding from someone.” said Marcus. “What do you mean by “someone” Marcus?” asked Rodimus as he retracted his visor back up. Marcus then lifted his arm and pointed to a dark silhouette with red glowing eyes up ahead. With a flash of lightning the light revealed who the figure was and it was none other than Nemesis Prime himself. “I knew you would come here knowing that these pathetic and disgusting insects were in danger but don’t worry I have not harmed any of them, at least not yet.” said Nemesis. Rodimus then told Marcus to stay out of the fight and keep a safe distance from the fight because he doesn’t want Marcus to get hurt or killed. Rodimus then looked at Nemesis Prime and said. “As our leader Optimus Prime once said “by end of this day one shall stand, one shall fall.” and even if you destroy me Nemesis other Autobots will rise to leadership and defeat you.” said Rodimus. “Such empty words for a so called leader. A pity that they shall be your last “Hot Rod” with the Matrix in Decepticon hands no one will be able to stop us from ruling over the Lylat system.” said Nemesis as he and Rodimus began to charge at each other. Meanwhile on the Great Fox II Sideswipe said “we’re receiving a transmission from Corneria and it looks urgent.” said Sideswipe. “Put it on.” said Falco. To everyone’s surprise it was Fox McCloud and Krystal McCloud along with General Peppy. “Fox, Krystal it’s good to see you two lovebirds again.” said Falco. “Falco, this isn’t a social call.” said Peppy. “Falco this is very important where is Marcus and Rodimus?” asked Fox. “He and Rodimus are already on Papetoon and are confronting Nemesis Prime because they didn’t want to test to see what would happen if we kept him waiting.” said Falco. “Darn it, that’s exactly what I would do if I was him.” said Fox as he placed his hand on his forehead. “Falco, the reason to why Nemesis wants our son their is because he knows Rodimus is not strong enough and is going to kill Rodimus in front of Marcus like how me and Fox watched Optimus die right in front of us.” said Krystal. Back on Papetoon Nemesis appeared to be getting the upper hand over Rodimus and Marcus was trying to think of a way to help Rodimus. At first he thought he could try to find a delay in Nemesis Prime’s combat skills but he saw no fault in his combat skills and all he could do was watch as Rodimus gets the beating of a lifetime from a Decepticon impersonating the appearance of Optimus Prime. Nemesis then landed a powerful uppercut on Rodimus’s chest plate and sent him flying back a few meters and landing up against a large rock outside the town. Rodimus was badly damaged and was leaking energon at a much slower rate than what caused Optimus to die. Nemesis then began to walk towards Rodimus. Marcus then realized what Nemesis was going to do and cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled. “Rodimus, get up you’ve got to move!!!!” yelled Marcus as he then began to run towards Rodimus. Eventually Nemesis Prime’s right hand went inside his forearm and a metal rod ejected out and activated into the blades of an axe but instead of it being orange like Optimus Prime’s Energy axe it was purple like Galvatron’s Fusion Mace and Chain. Just before Nemesis reached Rodimus Marcus stepped out in front of Nemesis and held out both of his arms and said. “I won’t let you hurt him anymore. If you want to destroy him then you are going to have to kill me to do that.” said Marcus as he put a stern look on his face. “Marcus, no get out of here, this is my fight.” said Rodimus as he was trying to get up onto his feet. Marcus then turned to look at his best friend and said. “You promised my mom and dad that you would protect me, well now it’s my turn to protect you.” said Marcus as he looked up at Nemesis. “So be it.” said Nemesis as he raised his right arm and was about to kill Marcus in front of Rodimus. Suddenly a blue hand grabbed Nemesis by the shoulder and a deep and metallic voice said. “Not while I’m functioning on this day.” said the voice. Nemesis was then yanked out of the way to reveal another Autobot that looked just like Nemesis but was red and blue and was bearing the Autobot insignia on both of his shoulders. The mysterious Autobot then landed a solid uppercut on Nemesis and sent him flying back back ten meters. “It’s just you and me now Nemesis, at the end of this day One shall stand, One shall fall.” said the Autobot as a battle mask closed over the mouth area of there face. Marcus watched as the mysterious red and blue Autobot fight Nemesis Prime and was winning. Marcus then asked himself. “Who is that? And why does he look so familiar?” He asked himself in his head. Nemesis tried to kill the Autobot by hitting it in the head with his Fusion axe. But the Autobot managed to dodge the attack and elbowed Nemesis in the face and the Autobots right hand also became an axe but the blades were orange and sliced off Nemesis’s axe clean off his arm and Nemesis had no choice but to use his bear hands on this Autobot. Nemesis tried to pull off one of the many few times Megatron tried to grab Prime’s head and even said “I’ll rip out your optics!” said Nemesis as he tried to grab the Autobots face only to fail like Megatron did so many times before. The Autobot then managed to get a good grip on Nemesis and then threw him to the side. Marcus has never seen such skill and thought to himself “Could this Autobot be the one they called “Optimus Prime” or is it an Autobot clone of Nemesis.” The Autobot then landed a left roundhouse punch on Nemesis’s head and then landed a solid right uppercut into his abdomen next to his vehicle modes grill and finally a left knife hand into the side of Nemesis Prime’s right knee knocking him down. The Autobot then took out its orange energy Axe and then said in its deep voice. “Any last words Decepticon.” said the Autobot. Nemesis then looked up and said. “This isn’t the last you’ve seen of us.” said Nemesis. The Autobot then raised his arm and brought his axe downward on Nemesis Prime’s head in the center and eventually removing his axe out of Nemesis’s head and letting him fall over forward and watched as Nemesis Primes’s eyes flickered and slowly turned off. The Autobot then retracted his axe and then his battle mask and began to walk over to Rodimus and held out his hand to help Rodimus up. As Rodimus was helped back up to his feet the mysterious Autobot then placed his left hand on Rodimus’s right shoulder and said. “Rodimus, You have grown to become a great leader one more capable of putting the lives of others before your own and for that I am proud of you.” said the Autobot as he then looked at Marcus and said. “I believe it is time that we meet each other.” said the Autobot as he began to walk towards Marcus and stopped. “Who are you?” asked Marcus. “Don’t you recognize anything about me?” said the Autobot as the sun began to emerge from the clouds and the Autobot got down on one knee and allowed the light to hit the back of his head making a familiar sight from Marcus’s past. Marcus then had a flashback to when he opened his eyes for the first time a few weeks after he was born and saw a black silhouette of a head with antennae’s on the sides and blue glowing eyes. Marcus then snapped back to reality and said. “It was you. You were the guardian angel I saw when I opened my eyes for the first time.” said Marcus. “That is correct. But do you recognize something about my appearance?” said the Autobot as he gestured to himself. Marcus then took a long look at the Autobot and realized that he has parts of a semi truck and was red, silver and blue. Marcus then said. “Wait a minute you are the truck my parents have been driving.” said Marcus. “Yes I was that truck and I promised to protect your parents for they were my closest friends and they are the closest thing I have to an actual family. I am also the reason to why you are with Rodimus because back when he was “Hot Rod” on the day you two met he promised both me and your father that he would keep you safe.” said the Autobot. “What’s your name?” asked Marcus. The Autobot then placed his hand on his chest and said. “I am Optimus Prime.” said Optimus. Rodimus then used his communicator and said. “Wheeljack open the Spacebridge. Nemesis Prime is no more.” said Rodimus. Just then the Spacebridge opened and Optimus then grabbed the body of Nemesis Prime and tossed him through the spacebridge and he told Rodimus and Marcus to go through first while he took a look at the James McCloud memorial to see if it was okay. Back with Wheeljack and the rest of the team they all watched as Marcus and a banged up Rodimus walk out of the Spacebridge. Rodimus ask Wheeljack to leave the Spacebridge open because they were expecting someone to come onboard the ship. The Autobots were shocked to see that Rodimus had a small leak of energon coming out his side while they were also asking how they defeated Nemesis Prime. Marcus then said. “We had a little help.” He said before Rodimus finished. “From an friend.” said Rodimus as he looked at the Spacebridge and used the old Autobot frequency on his communicator that dated back to the old Star Fox team and said. “You can come through old friend.” said Rodimus as he and everyone else looked at the Spacebridge and watched as a familiar figure to the Autobots began to come through and eventually the figure revealed itself to be Optimus Prime. The Autobots were shocked to see that there old leader was alive again. Even the Star Fox team was shocked to see the legendary Optimus Prime alive and well. “Rodimus, I suggest that we get you to the med bay and get patched up and make sure to get some rest because we are going to Corneria.” said Optimus. “Alright Optimus, your in charge while I’m recharging and getting patched up.” said Rodimus as Optimus helped him to the med bay. As the Great Fox II was making its way to Corneria some of the Star Fox team thought it was a great honor to be in the presence of the legend himself Optimus Prime. Marcus was sitting on the roof of Prime’s cab while Optimus was telling Marcus about the many missions he and Marcus’s parents went on including the assault against the Apariod invasion on Lylat he even told Marcus about the time the old Star Fox team and the old Autobot team found the Allspark and found the one responsible for the destruction of the peaceful planet Cerinia. “Have you ever been to Cerinia before it was destroyed?” asked Marcus. “Unfortunately me and my Autobots weren’t even in Lylat yet. But even if we were we would have done all we can to save everyone. But there was one soul survivor of Cerinia.” said Optimus. “Who was it?” asked Marcus. “That survivor is the reason why you are here today Marcus for you see that survivor was your mother.” said Optimus as he had a flashback to when he, Fox and Krystal camped out for the first time when they were trying to save Dinosaur Planet and that evening Optimus was on watch duty when he heard someone crying and turned and he saw Krystal sitting on a large boulder and he noticed that she was looking at the stars and was crying he then began to walk towards her and asked. “Krystal, why are you crying?” asked Optimus as he got down on one knee. “It’s my home world Cerinia.” said Krystal as she explained to Optimus about what happened to Cerinia itself and her kind. Optimus was shocked to hear that she had to watch her tribe get killed off and he was especially shocked to know that she was forced to watch her parents get slaughtered right in front of her and she was only ten years old. “I’m… sorry that you were exposed to such horrors like that… especially at such a young age.” said Optimus as he then said. “You know what Krystal I miss my home too.” said Optimus as he told Krystal how much he misses his home world of Cybertron and he misses it just as much as Krystal misses Cerinia and her parents and promised her that when he finds the one responsible for Cerinia’s destruction he was going to make them pay for what they’ve done. Optimus then snapped back to reality when Fay said they were approaching Corneria. “Optimus, you mentioned something about an “Allspark” what is it and what happened to it?” asked Marcus. “I’ll tell you about that another time right now I need to see if Rodimus is done being patched up and is fully recharged.” said Optimus as he gently lowered Marcus down to the floor and began to make his way to the med bay. “Wow, I never knew that Optimus was so amazing, kind and gentle.” said Marcus. Optimus eventually made his way to the med bay and decided to go in and check in on Rodimus. He went in to see Rodimus still powered off in order to allow the medical robots to do their work at repairing Rodimus. “How’s he doing?” said a voice. Optimus turned around to see it was Falco. “His repairs are almost complete.” said Optimus. After a few moments of silence Falco then said. “What he and Marcus did reminded me, Fay and Miyu as well as Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Jazz about the many times that you risked your life in order to protect others and Fox and Krystal.” said Falco. “That is what a true leader does. Putting the lives of others and those you love before your own.” said Optimus. Eventually the medical robots were done and Rodimus began to power back up and the first friendly face he saw was Optimus Prime’s face and he was smiling as he told Rodimus that they were approaching Corneria. As the Great Fox II was preparing to land Optimus said that he and Marcus were going to to take the body of Nemesis Prime by truck and they said that they would be a little late but Jazz said that it would make a great dramatic entrance and Marcus agreed. As everyone was ready to use the Spacebridge Optimus then transformed into his Freightliner truck mode and allowed Marcus to climb up into his cab in the driver side. As Marcus was getting into Optimus Preceptor and Wheeljack placed Nemesis Prime’s body on the back section of Prime’s truck mode and then Optimus said his famous phrase. “Autobots Roll Out.” said Optimus as he began to drive off to Corneria city while everyone else used the Spacebridge. As Optimus was driving Marcus then asked. “Optimus, why did you want me to come along with you?” asked Marcus. “Remember when you asked me “what is the Allspark?” well that is the reason why I asked you to come with me because I’m going to tell you what the Allspark is and what happened to it.” said Optimus as he then said. “Before time began their was the Allspark. We do not know where it came from but we only knew that it had the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how my race was born. For time we lived in harmony. But like all great power there are those who wanted it. Some wanted it for good others for evil and thus began the war. A war between the Autobots who fought for freedom and the Decepticons who dreamed of tyranny. Eventually the Decepticons were searching for the Allspark and turn our planets most ancient vessel of life into a weapon of mass destruction. Fortunately me and my Autobots were able to find the Allspark before the Decepticons and we had a plan to take the Allspark off Cybertron and to do that we had to use a Spacebridge but the Decepticons got information of our plan and attack us when we were about to use the Spacebridge to get the Allspark to safety. Wheeljack was able to get the Spacebridge online and I tried to make a break for the Spacebridge but Megatron shot me in the leg and I went down.” said Optimus. “Did Megatron get the Allspark?” asked Marcus. “Fortunately no he did not get his hands on the Allspark because I did something I still regret to this day.” said Optimus. “What did you do?” asked Marcus. “I had no choice but to throw the Allspark through the Spacebridge not knowing what was on the other side of the Spacebridge and even to this day I still regret my actions. For in our efforts to keep the Allspark safe and out of Megatron’s grasp our world, our home Cybertron began to die. And it was all my fault.” said Optimus with regret in his voice. “Optimus, you may have made a mistake that costed you and your Autobots home world in the past. But you and your Autobots managed to keep an all powerful life giving artifact from falling into the wrong hands and you did what you thought was the right thing and that’s all I can say.” said Marcus. “You know Marcus you sound just like both your grandfather and your father.” said Optimus. “Yeah I get that a lot from the others, so where is the Allspark now?” asked Marcus. “Remember when I mentioned about finding the one responsible for the destruction of Cerinia?” asked Optimus. “Yes.” said Marcus. “Your father, mother and I along with everyone else were shocked to know that the Allspark had fell into the clutches of an evil inventor named Dr. Otero who used the Allspark’s power to fuel his weapons and robot army. Your parents and I were lead into a trap and your parents were trapped inside a containment orb of some kind and Otero himself controlling a large mech that was permanently fused to his body and challenged me to combat and I gave him two options to either surrender the Allspark or be destroyed, and who ever the victor was they would gain possession of what he called “the Artifact of power”. As we were fighting the Allspark managed to give me a power boost, but Otero played dirty and stabbed me injecting nanobots into my system at the same time and was eating away at my metal slowly but soon the pain stopped for the small amount of power of the Allspark within me had expunged the nanobots inside me and gave me the ability to armor up with a vehicle and the armor I chose was made from your father’s and mother’s Arwings but the mech Otero was operating was being powered by the Allspark itself making it too strong and fast and I had nearly lost my life that day but if it had not been for Bumblebee’s interference and some words of determination from both your mother and father and the time Bumblebee managed to buy me to get back up and fight back and I managed to get the upper hand and I was able to rip both arms and legs off the mech as well as the Allspark from the mech’s chest and I had won the fight. Otero was then Monologging and it gave me the opportunity to used something I had learned from your kinds culture called “Football” and sent Dr. Otero and the remaining torso of his mech into the dark and endless abyss of space but unfortunately the Allspark took the power armor upgrade off of me and put your parents Arwing back together but on that day I knew that me and my Autobots had accomplished our original goal on finding the Allspark and I knew that the people of Cerinia were avenged and your mother could then rest easy knowing that her parents had been avenged and shall Rest In Peace. I then realized that there are other sources of evil out in the galaxy other than the Decepticons and far worse than Otero. In order to prevent the Allspark from falling into the wrong hands again, I had only one choice.” said Optimus. “What did you do with the Allspark then?” asked Marcus. “I had no choice but to destroy the Allspark and still to this moment I regret what I have done. Because of my actions me and my Autobots can not complete our mission and return both the Allspark and life to Cybertron which is why even though me and my kind may never see the sight of Cybertron again I have decided that we will continue to live here as if we were forged here.” said Optimus as they were approaching their destination. Back with the rest of the team they were meeting up with the old Star Fox members and their Autobot companions. But Fox and Krystal were curious about who their son and Rodimus found during the fight against Nemesis Prime even Fox’s dad James McCloud was curious about who it is. Eventually a truck horn went off twice. Everyone then looked in the direction the sound came from and watched as a red, silver and blue cab over semi truck approach them. The truck then stopped and then the driver side door opened and out climbed Marcus. Marcus then closed the door and began to walk to his family. As Marcus was walking towards his parents and grandfather Jazz and Rodimus began to take Nemesis Prime’s body off the back of the truck and Marcus knew that they were looking at the truck he pulled up in. “Marcus, how and were did you get that truck?” asked Fox. Marcus then crossed his arms and said. “Dad, I know it’s not just a normal truck.” said Marcus as he then turned around and said. “You can show yourself now “Guardian Angel”.” said Marcus. Suddenly the truck began to transform and Fox, Krystal, Slippy, Amanda, Lucy, Jack and Peppy were shocked to see that the truck was actually an old friend and a lost family member. “Optimus is that really you?” asked Ratchet. Optimus then smiled and said. “Hello my friends.” said Optimus as he then took notice to James and said. “It is good to see you again, James.” said Optimus. James was able to get a good look at Optimus and said. “You, you were the robot that helped me get back to my son. I never got the chance to say thank you.” said James. “You do not need to thank me James, I was merely doing what I believed was the right thing to do.” said Optimus as he looked at Marcus and said. “Your grandson told me that.” said Optimus as he then noticed his old Autobot team and said. “It is good to see you all again as well. Especially you Bumblebee your mission with helping me pass the Matrix was a success. Thank you Bumblebee.” said Optimus as he placed his right hand on Bumblebee’s left shoulder. “It was the least I could do for you Optimus. Besides the Matrix made a good choice picking Hot Rod.” said Bumblebee. Optimus then noticed Fox and Krystal and began to walk over to them. He then got down on one knee and said. “Hello Fox, Hello Krystal. I’m sorry for leaving you two. Silverbolt was right it was suicide to face Galvatron alone and I wasn’t strong enough. I’m sorry I broke my promise to keep you two safe.” said Optimus as he closed his eyes and looked down in shame. “Optimus, you don’t need to apologize and you didn’t break your promise. You managed to keep us save for so long and you have been watching over us as a ghost. You even managed to bring back Fox’s father and that’s the best thing we can ever ask for from you.” said Krystal as both her and Fox smiled at Optimus. “Your right I haven’t broken my promise and now that I am back my promise now extends his father.” said Optimus as he then gestured to James and said. “If that’s alright with him?” said Optimus as he and Fox looked at James as he then said. “I would like that very much Optimus Prime.” said James as he began to walk over to Fox and placed his hand on his shoulder. “Besides you were the one who helped me get back to my son.” said James. “So what now Optimus?” asked Rodimus. “You tell me Rodimus.” said Optimus as he then tapped Rodimus’s chest plate signifying that Rodimus still has the Matrix within him. “You’re still in charge.” said Optimus with a smile. “That may be true. But I think you should say it one last time.” said Rodimus as he smiled back. Optimus then looked down at Fox and said. “Shall we say it together one last time Fox?” asked Optimus with a smile. “Only if it’s alright with my son because he is still in charge of Star Fox.” said Fox as he lowered his sunglasses and looked at his son with a smile as well. Marcus then laughed and said. “Go ahead dad, I want to hear what it sounded like when the two of you used to say it.” said Marcus as he smiled back at his father. Optimus and Fox then looked at each other and then both said. “AUTOBOTS, STAR FOX, ROLL OUT!” said both Fox McCloud and Optimus Prime one last time as they watched as the new Star Fox team and Autobots drive off back to the Great Fox II. Krystal then heard Optimus Prime’s voice in her head saying “You do not need to worry, Rodimus and your son will do great things for both Lylat and beyond.” said Optimus as he alone then felt the presence of two people he met in the afterlife and are the reason why he has come back to life. He then looked to his left and saw the spirits of Krystal’s deceased parents “Shard and Falyf” and he quietly said to them. “Thank you, for helping me get back to my family.” said Optimus with a smile.

Recap: Optimus Prime has died at the hands of Galvatron and Hot Rod had become Rodimus Prime. James McCloud (father of Fox McCloud) had returned from his dimensional prison after spending twenty years alone and unable to see his son until he received help from the Thirteen Original Prime’s and an old friend to both Fox and Krystal.)

Five months after the return of James McCloud Fox and sometimes Krystal visit the body of Optimus Prime which has not been moved ever since he died ten years ago. When either one them visits him they go up by his head hoping that one day his dead black eyes will turn back on and glow a bright blue light once again. One day both Fox and Krystal decided to visit him together only to find out that he was missing from the room. Just then Peppy and Ratchet then received a video transmission from a Corneria base on Zoness and the video feed showed that they were under attack by an the Decepticons and suddenly the doors that were said to even keep out Galvatron himself we’re busted off their hinges and killed several Autobot soldiers in the process as well as crushing twenty Corneria soldiers. The remaining soldiers of both Autobot and Corneria then aimed their weapons at the doorway and waited for who ever was attacking to come out. Just when they were about to lower their weapons to take a look down the dark corridor a figure then came charging out at the remaining Autobot soldiers and began to slaughter them along with the remaining Corneria soldiers. Eventually the figure saw that it was being recorded and took out its blaster and fired it at who ever was recording after they said. “Please send help!!!!” then static……. “Wait a minute go back to the moment before it goes to static and zoom in on that Decepticon.” said Ratchet as he realized something about the figure in the video. Just as the video feed was being played back a Decepticon video message was being transmitted to all vessels and planets in the entire Lylat system. When the message began to play Peppy was shocked to see that it was the Decepticon from the base attack footage and it looked like Optimus Prime but Optimus was dead. “Rodimus Prime, if you are listening to this transmission I “Nemesis Prime” challenge you in combat for possession of the Matrix No Arwings, No team, No blasters I want a fair clean fight.” said Nemesis. The Great Fox II was near Titania and the Star Fox team and the Autobots were listening and they were shocked to see a Decepticon Optimus Prime. “I thought you said he was a good friend to all?” said Marcus. “He’s supposed to be a hero, an inspiration, not this dark….thing.” said Rodimus with disbelief in his voice. “I will be waiting for you and your little blue pet near the James McCloud memorial on Papetoon. Do not keep me waiting for long.” said Nemesis as the message ended. Back on Corneria Fox and Krystal went to see Peppy to tell him that Optimus Prime’s body was gone and Peppy told them that a base on Zoness was attacked by the Decepticons and one that looks like Optimus who goes by the name “Nemesis Prime” just sent out a transmission to all of Lylat including all vessels in Lylat and what shocked both Fox and Krystal was the fact that Nemesis was looking for Rodimus and challenged him to combat and someone he called. “His little blue pet.” After Peppy said that Fox and Krystal suddenly realized who he was talking about and said. “Peppy, Nemesis was talking about our son.” said Fox. “Why would he want your son to be involved?” asked Peppy. “Nemesis wants Marcus to watch Rodimus die right in front of him like how me and Fox watched Optimus die right in front of us.” said Krystal. Back with the Star Fox team everyone was wondering why Nemesis Prime wanted Marcus to be with Rodimus. “This doesn’t make any sense, why would Nemesis want Marcus there?” asked Miyu. “I don’t know but we have to agree to his terms because we don’t know what would happen if we don’t agree to his terms.” said Rodimus. “If that’s the case then, Marcus you need to leave your blaster here because he said no blasters.” said Falco as he pointed to Marcus’s blaster. As Marcus took his blaster out of his holster he then said. “If Rodimus losses and I get killed in the process. I want all of you to keep my blaster in memory of me and tell my mom and dad that I will forever love them and Falco, you and Jazz are in charge until we get back.” said Marcus as he handed his blaster to his closest friend Slidey then he and Rodimus made their way to the spacebridge in the main hangar bay on the Great Fox II. “Wheeljack, set the spacebridges coordinates for Papetoon we’re going to confront Nemesis Prime.” Said Rodimus in a tone that was mostly used by Optimus Prime years ago. “When I received the transmission, I set the coordinates for Papetoon knowing that both of you would come down here and say that.” said Wheeljack as he activated the spacebridge. “If you win, make sure that you bring Nemesis Prime’s body because I get the feeling that he is not a normal Cybertronian like us.” asked Wheeljack. “I’ll try, but remember I may be a Prime now but I don’t have Optimus’s strength.” said Rodimus. “Don’t worry I’ll try to figure out a way for you to beat him.” said Marcus as he and Rodimus began to walk through the spacebridge. They then arrived on Papetoon and they saw that they arrived in one of the many towns on Papetoon only to find it dead silent and dark clouds filled the sky. “Rodimus can you……?” asked Marcus before Rodimus said. “Scan to see if there are any civilians here. Way ahead of you Marcus.” said Rodimus as a visor came down over his eyes and began to scan for any civilians and to his surprise everyone was hiding in the buildings. “Marcus everyone is hiding from something.” said Rodimus. “Or hiding from someone.” said Marcus. “What do you mean by “someone” Marcus?” asked Rodimus as he retracted his visor back up. Marcus then lifted his arm and pointed to a dark silhouette with red glowing eyes up ahead. With a flash of lightning the light revealed who the figure was and it was none other than Nemesis Prime himself. “I knew you would come here knowing that these pathetic and disgusting insects were in danger but don’t worry I have not harmed any of them, at least not yet.” said Nemesis. Rodimus then told Marcus to stay out of the fight and keep a safe distance from the fight because he doesn’t want Marcus to get hurt or killed. Rodimus then looked at Nemesis Prime and said. “As our leader Optimus Prime once said “by end of this day one shall stand, one shall fall.” and even if you destroy me Nemesis other Autobots will rise to leadership and defeat you.” said Rodimus. “Such empty words for a so called leader. A pity that they shall be your last “Hot Rod” with the Matrix in Decepticon hands no one will be able to stop us from ruling over the Lylat system.” said Nemesis as he and Rodimus began to charge at each other. Meanwhile on the Great Fox II Sideswipe said “we’re receiving a transmission from Corneria and it looks urgent.” said Sideswipe. “Put it on.” said Falco. To everyone’s surprise it was Fox McCloud and Krystal McCloud along with General Peppy. “Fox, Krystal it’s good to see you two lovebirds again.” said Falco. “Falco, this isn’t a social call.” said Peppy. “Falco this is very important where is Marcus and Rodimus?” asked Fox. “He and Rodimus are already on Papetoon and are confronting Nemesis Prime because they didn’t want to test to see what would happen if we kept him waiting.” said Falco. “Darn it, that’s exactly what I would do if I was him.” said Fox as he placed his hand on his forehead. “Falco, the reason to why Nemesis wants our son their is because he knows Rodimus is not strong enough and is going to kill Rodimus in front of Marcus like how me and Fox watched Optimus die right in front of us.” said Krystal. Back on Papetoon Nemesis appeared to be getting the upper hand over Rodimus and Marcus was trying to think of a way to help Rodimus. At first he thought he could try to find a delay in Nemesis Prime’s combat skills but he saw no fault in his combat skills and all he could do was watch as Rodimus gets the beating of a lifetime from a Decepticon impersonating the appearance of Optimus Prime. Nemesis then landed a powerful uppercut on Rodimus’s chest plate and sent him flying back a few meters and landing up against a large rock outside the town. Rodimus was badly damaged and was leaking energon at a much slower rate than what caused Optimus to die. Nemesis then began to walk towards Rodimus. Marcus then realized what Nemesis was going to do and cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled. “Rodimus, get up you’ve got to move!!!!” yelled Marcus as he then began to run towards Rodimus. Eventually Nemesis Prime’s right hand went inside his forearm and a metal rod ejected out and activated into the blades of an axe but instead of it being orange like Optimus Prime’s Energy axe it was purple like Galvatron’s Fusion Mace and Chain. Just before Nemesis reached Rodimus Marcus stepped out in front of Nemesis and held out both of his arms and said. “I won’t let you hurt him anymore. If you want to destroy him then you are going to have to kill me to do that.” said Marcus as he put a stern look on his face. “Marcus, no get out of here, this is my fight.” said Rodimus as he was trying to get up onto his feet. Marcus then turned to look at his best friend and said. “You promised my mom and dad that you would protect me, well now it’s my turn to protect you.” said Marcus as he looked up at Nemesis. “So be it.” said Nemesis as he raised his right arm and was about to kill Marcus in front of Rodimus. Suddenly a blue hand grabbed Nemesis by the shoulder and a deep and metallic voice said. “Not while I’m functioning on this day.” said the voice. Nemesis was then yanked out of the way to reveal another Autobot that looked just like Nemesis but was red and blue and was bearing the Autobot insignia on both of his shoulders. The mysterious Autobot then landed a solid uppercut on Nemesis and sent him flying back back ten meters. “It’s just you and me now Nemesis, at the end of this day One shall stand, One shall fall.” said the Autobot as a battle mask closed over the mouth area of there face. Marcus watched as the mysterious red and blue Autobot fight Nemesis Prime and was winning. Marcus then asked himself. “Who is that? And why does he look so familiar?” He asked himself in his head. Nemesis tried to kill the Autobot by hitting it in the head with his Fusion axe. But the Autobot managed to dodge the attack and elbowed Nemesis in the face and the Autobots right hand also became an axe but the blades were orange and sliced off Nemesis’s axe clean off his arm and Nemesis had no choice but to use his bear hands on this Autobot. Nemesis tried to pull off one of the many few times Megatron tried to grab Prime’s head and even said “I’ll rip out your optics!” said Nemesis as he tried to grab the Autobots face only to fail like Megatron did so many times before. The Autobot then managed to get a good grip on Nemesis and then threw him to the side. Marcus has never seen such skill and thought to himself “Could this Autobot be the one they called “Optimus Prime” or is it an Autobot clone of Nemesis.” The Autobot then landed a left roundhouse punch on Nemesis’s head and then landed a solid right uppercut into his abdomen next to his vehicle modes grill and finally a left knife hand into the side of Nemesis Prime’s right knee knocking him down. The Autobot then took out its orange energy Axe and then said in its deep voice. “Any last words Decepticon.” said the Autobot. Nemesis then looked up and said. “This isn’t the last you’ve seen of us.” said Nemesis. The Autobot then raised his arm and brought his axe downward on Nemesis Prime’s head in the center and eventually removing his axe out of Nemesis’s head and letting him fall over forward and watched as Nemesis Primes’s eyes flickered and slowly turned off. The Autobot then retracted his axe and then his battle mask and began to walk over to Rodimus and held out his hand to help Rodimus up. As Rodimus was helped back up to his feet the mysterious Autobot then placed his left hand on Rodimus’s right shoulder and said. “Rodimus, You have grown to become a great leader one more capable of putting the lives of others before your own and for that I am proud of you.” said the Autobot as he then looked at Marcus and said. “I believe it is time that we meet each other.” said the Autobot as he began to walk towards Marcus and stopped. “Who are you?” asked Marcus. “Don’t you recognize anything about me?” said the Autobot as the sun began to emerge from the clouds and the Autobot got down on one knee and allowed the light to hit the back of his head making a familiar sight from Marcus’s past. Marcus then had a flashback to when he opened his eyes for the first time a few weeks after he was born and saw a black silhouette of a head with antennae’s on the sides and blue glowing eyes. Marcus then snapped back to reality and said. “It was you. You were the guardian angel I saw when I opened my eyes for the first time.” said Marcus. “That is correct. But do you recognize something about my appearance?” said the Autobot as he gestured to himself. Marcus then took a long look at the Autobot and realized that he has parts of a semi truck and was red, silver and blue. Marcus then said. “Wait a minute you are the truck my parents have been driving.” said Marcus. “Yes I was that truck and I promised to protect your parents for they were my closest friends and they are the closest thing I have to an actual family. I am also the reason to why you are with Rodimus because back when he was “Hot Rod” on the day you two met he promised both me and your father that he would keep you safe.” said the Autobot. “What’s your name?” asked Marcus. The Autobot then placed his hand on his chest and said. “I am Optimus Prime.” said Optimus. Rodimus then used his communicator and said. “Wheeljack open the Spacebridge. Nemesis Prime is no more.” said Rodimus. Just then the Spacebridge opened and Optimus then grabbed the body of Nemesis Prime and tossed him through the spacebridge and he told Rodimus and Marcus to go through first while he took a look at the James McCloud memorial to see if it was okay. Back with Wheeljack and the rest of the team they all watched as Marcus and a banged up Rodimus walk out of the Spacebridge. Rodimus ask Wheeljack to leave the Spacebridge open because they were expecting someone to come onboard the ship. The Autobots were shocked to see that Rodimus had a small leak of energon coming out his side while they were also asking how they defeated Nemesis Prime. Marcus then said. “We had a little help.” He said before Rodimus finished. “From an friend.” said Rodimus as he looked at the Spacebridge and used the old Autobot frequency on his communicator that dated back to the old Star Fox team and said. “You can come through old friend.” said Rodimus as he and everyone else looked at the Spacebridge and watched as a familiar figure to the Autobots began to come through and eventually the figure revealed itself to be Optimus Prime. The Autobots were shocked to see that there old leader was alive again. Even the Star Fox team was shocked to see the legendary Optimus Prime alive and well. “Rodimus, I suggest that we get you to the med bay and get patched up and make sure to get some rest because we are going to Corneria.” said Optimus. “Alright Optimus, your in charge while I’m recharging and getting patched up.” said Rodimus as Optimus helped him to the med bay. As the Great Fox II was making its way to Corneria some of the Star Fox team thought it was a great honor to be in the presence of the legend himself Optimus Prime. Marcus was sitting on the roof of Prime’s cab while Optimus was telling Marcus about the many missions he and Marcus’s parents went on including the assault against the Apariod invasion on Lylat he even told Marcus about the time the old Star Fox team and the old Autobot team found the Allspark and found the one responsible for the destruction of the peaceful planet Cerinia. “Have you ever been to Cerinia before it was destroyed?” asked Marcus. “Unfortunately me and my Autobots weren’t even in Lylat yet. But even if we were we would have done all we can to save everyone. But there was one soul survivor of Cerinia.” said Optimus. “Who was it?” asked Marcus. “That survivor is the reason why you are here today Marcus for you see that survivor was your mother.” said Optimus as he had a flashback to when he, Fox and Krystal camped out for the first time when they were trying to save Dinosaur Planet and that evening Optimus was on watch duty when he heard someone crying and turned and he saw Krystal sitting on a large boulder and he noticed that she was looking at the stars and was crying he then began to walk towards her and asked. “Krystal, why are you crying?” asked Optimus as he got down on one knee. “It’s my home world Cerinia.” said Krystal as she explained to Optimus about what happened to Cerinia itself and her kind. Optimus was shocked to hear that she had to watch her tribe get killed off and he was especially shocked to know that she was forced to watch her parents get slaughtered right in front of her and she was only ten years old. “I’m… sorry that you were exposed to such horrors like that… especially at such a young age.” said Optimus as he then said. “You know what Krystal I miss my home too.” said Optimus as he told Krystal how much he misses his home world of Cybertron and he misses it just as much as Krystal misses Cerinia and her parents and promised her that when he finds the one responsible for Cerinia’s destruction he was going to make them pay for what they’ve done. Optimus then snapped back to reality when Fay said they were approaching Corneria. “Optimus, you mentioned something about an “Allspark” what is it and what happened to it?” asked Marcus. “I’ll tell you about that another time right now I need to see if Rodimus is done being patched up and is fully recharged.” said Optimus as he gently lowered Marcus down to the floor and began to make his way to the med bay. “Wow, I never knew that Optimus was so amazing, kind and gentle.” said Marcus. Optimus eventually made his way to the med bay and decided to go in and check in on Rodimus. He went in to see Rodimus still powered off in order to allow the medical robots to do their work at repairing Rodimus. “How’s he doing?” said a voice. Optimus turned around to see it was Falco. “His repairs are almost complete.” said Optimus. After a few moments of silence Falco then said. “What he and Marcus did reminded me, Fay and Miyu as well as Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Jazz about the many times that you risked your life in order to protect others and Fox and Krystal.” said Falco. “That is what a true leader does. Putting the lives of others and those you love before your own.” said Optimus. Eventually the medical robots were done and Rodimus began to power back up and the first friendly face he saw was Optimus Prime’s face and he was smiling as he told Rodimus that they were approaching Corneria. As the Great Fox II was preparing to land Optimus said that he and Marcus were going to to take the body of Nemesis Prime by truck and they said that they would be a little late but Jazz said that it would make a great dramatic entrance and Marcus agreed. As everyone was ready to use the Spacebridge Optimus then transformed into his Freightliner truck mode and allowed Marcus to climb up into his cab in the driver side. As Marcus was getting into Optimus Preceptor and Wheeljack placed Nemesis Prime’s body on the back section of Prime’s truck mode and then Optimus said his famous phrase. “Autobots Roll Out.” said Optimus as he began to drive off to Corneria city while everyone else used the Spacebridge. As Optimus was driving Marcus then asked. “Optimus, why did you want me to come along with you?” asked Marcus. “Remember when you asked me “what is the Allspark?” well that is the reason why I asked you to come with me because I’m going to tell you what the Allspark is and what happened to it.” said Optimus as he then said. “Before time began their was the Allspark. We do not know where it came from but we only knew that it had the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how my race was born. For time we lived in harmony. But like all great power there are those who wanted it. Some wanted it for good others for evil and thus began the war. A war between the Autobots who fought for freedom and the Decepticons who dreamed of tyranny. Eventually the Decepticons were searching for the Allspark and turn our planets most ancient vessel of life into a weapon of mass destruction. Fortunately me and my Autobots were able to find the Allspark before the Decepticons and we had a plan to take the Allspark off Cybertron and to do that we had to use a Spacebridge but the Decepticons got information of our plan and attack us when we were about to use the Spacebridge to get the Allspark to safety. Wheeljack was able to get the Spacebridge online and I tried to make a break for the Spacebridge but Megatron shot me in the leg and I went down.” said Optimus. “Did Megatron get the Allspark?” asked Marcus. “Fortunately no he did not get his hands on the Allspark because I did something I still regret to this day.” said Optimus. “What did you do?” asked Marcus. “I had no choice but to throw the Allspark through the Spacebridge not knowing what was on the other side of the Spacebridge and even to this day I still regret my actions. For in our efforts to keep the Allspark safe and out of Megatron’s grasp our world, our home Cybertron began to die. And it was all my fault.” said Optimus with regret in his voice. “Optimus, you may have made a mistake that costed you and your Autobots home world in the past. But you and your Autobots managed to keep an all powerful life giving artifact from falling into the wrong hands and you did what you thought was the right thing and that’s all I can say.” said Marcus. “You know Marcus you sound just like both your grandfather and your father.” said Optimus. “Yeah I get that a lot from the others, so where is the Allspark now?” asked Marcus. “Remember when I mentioned about finding the one responsible for the destruction of Cerinia?” asked Optimus. “Yes.” said Marcus. “Your father, mother and I along with everyone else were shocked to know that the Allspark had fell into the clutches of an evil inventor named Dr. Otero who used the Allspark’s power to fuel his weapons and robot army. Your parents and I were lead into a trap and your parents were trapped inside a containment orb of some kind and Otero himself controlling a large mech that was permanently fused to his body and challenged me to combat and I gave him two options to either surrender the Allspark or be destroyed, and who ever the victor was they would gain possession of what he called “the Artifact of power”. As we were fighting the Allspark managed to give me a power boost, but Otero played dirty and stabbed me injecting nanobots into my system at the same time and was eating away at my metal slowly but soon the pain stopped for the small amount of power of the Allspark within me had expunged the nanobots inside me and gave me the ability to armor up with a vehicle and the armor I chose was made from your father’s and mother’s Arwings but the mech Otero was operating was being powered by the Allspark itself making it too strong and fast and I had nearly lost my life that day but if it had not been for Bumblebee’s interference and some words of determination from both your mother and father and the time Bumblebee managed to buy me to get back up and fight back and I managed to get the upper hand and I was able to rip both arms and legs off the mech as well as the Allspark from the mech’s chest and I had won the fight. Otero was then Monologging and it gave me the opportunity to used something I had learned from your kinds culture called “Football” and sent Dr. Otero and the remaining torso of his mech into the dark and endless abyss of space but unfortunately the Allspark took the power armor upgrade off of me and put your parents Arwing back together but on that day I knew that me and my Autobots had accomplished our original goal on finding the Allspark and I knew that the people of Cerinia were avenged and your mother could then rest easy knowing that her parents had been avenged and shall Rest In Peace. I then realized that there are other sources of evil out in the galaxy other than the Decepticons and far worse than Otero. In order to prevent the Allspark from falling into the wrong hands again, I had only one choice.” said Optimus. “What did you do with the Allspark then?” asked Marcus. “I had no choice but to destroy the Allspark and still to this moment I regret what I have done. Because of my actions me and my Autobots can not complete our mission and return both the Allspark and life to Cybertron which is why even though me and my kind may never see the sight of Cybertron again I have decided that we will continue to live here as if we were forged here.” said Optimus as they were approaching their destination. Back with the rest of the team they were meeting up with the old Star Fox members and their Autobot companions. But Fox and Krystal were curious about who their son and Rodimus found during the fight against Nemesis Prime even Fox’s dad James McCloud was curious about who it is. Eventually a truck horn went off twice. Everyone then looked in the direction the sound came from and watched as a red, silver and blue cab over semi truck approach them. The truck then stopped and then the driver side door opened and out climbed Marcus. Marcus then closed the door and began to walk to his family. As Marcus was walking towards his parents and grandfather Jazz and Rodimus began to take Nemesis Prime’s body off the back of the truck and Marcus knew that they were looking at the truck he pulled up in. “Marcus, how and were did you get that truck?” asked Fox. Marcus then crossed his arms and said. “Dad, I know it’s not just a normal truck.” said Marcus as he then turned around and said. “You can show yourself now “Guardian Angel”.” said Marcus. Suddenly the truck began to transform and Fox, Krystal, Slippy, Amanda, Lucy, Jack and Peppy were shocked to see that the truck was actually an old friend and a lost family member. “Optimus is that really you?” asked Ratchet. Optimus then smiled and said. “Hello my friends.” said Optimus as he then took notice to James and said. “It is good to see you again, James.” said Optimus. James was able to get a good look at Optimus and said. “You, you were the robot that helped me get back to my son. I never got the chance to say thank you.” said James. “You do not need to thank me James, I was merely doing what I believed was the right thing to do.” said Optimus as he looked at Marcus and said. “Your grandson told me that.” said Optimus as he then noticed his old Autobot team and said. “It is good to see you all again as well. Especially you Bumblebee your mission with helping me pass the Matrix was a success. Thank you Bumblebee.” said Optimus as he placed his right hand on Bumblebee’s left shoulder. “It was the least I could do for you Optimus. Besides the Matrix made a good choice picking Hot Rod.” said Bumblebee. Optimus then noticed Fox and Krystal and began to walk over to them. He then got down on one knee and said. “Hello Fox, Hello Krystal. I’m sorry for leaving you two. Silverbolt was right it was suicide to face Galvatron alone and I wasn’t strong enough. I’m sorry I broke my promise to keep you two safe.” said Optimus as he closed his eyes and looked down in shame. “Optimus, you don’t need to apologize and you didn’t break your promise. You managed to keep us save for so long and you have been watching over us as a ghost. You even managed to bring back Fox’s father and that’s the best thing we can ever ask for from you.” said Krystal as both her and Fox smiled at Optimus. “Your right I haven’t broken my promise and now that I am back my promise now extends his father.” said Optimus as he then gestured to James and said. “If that’s alright with him?” said Optimus as he and Fox looked at James as he then said. “I would like that very much Optimus Prime.” said James as he began to walk over to Fox and placed his hand on his shoulder. “Besides you were the one who helped me get back to my son.” said James. “So what now Optimus?” asked Rodimus. “You tell me Rodimus.” said Optimus as he then tapped Rodimus’s chest plate signifying that Rodimus still has the Matrix within him. “You’re still in charge.” said Optimus with a smile. “That may be true.
