Interesting! But ... For me, the legs for this guy looks more like a handicap)) I mean, on the ground his body will be too havy for jumping, but in the water he will move more easily with help of his tail
I think, he can use his legs for some special stuff. For example, he can live in the middle of Water thickets and move not only like a fish, but even like a monkey)))

I think you're right, I should've done smaller legs.
However I like your idea! I think the mangrove forests are the best enviroment for this guy. He can use both tail and legs to push himself out form the water to cling on trees

agreed, smaller legs would get less in the way of swimming like a fish. the leg anatomy is well-spotted though!
