Description One of my oldest digital pieces; this was another piece of mine made for my A-level graphic design course. This was meant to be a magazine cover. The idea behind it was to show the potential of creative power, the brain representing the mind and creativity, lifting the ship high into the air.

The greatest compliment I’ve ever received for this piece was “I want to smoke what you smoke”.

Edit: I've now updated this with a much improved higher res-version. Large prints available (minus the watermark of course)

Brainpowered airship! This is a wonderful painting. I, too, would like to smoke what you smoke. And I don't say that to many people.

I remember this one from the good old days. Still looks fantastic.

BTW, question. What resolutions do you work with usually? Also, do you use like MSN or anything regularly anymore? I'd like to run you by some new pieces i've been working on, hopefully get some feedback?

Heya Gary, this one's about 4000*5000 pixels. It's always better to work big I reckon so that you can fit all the detail in comfortably and if needs be you can always shrink the image to the required size. That said, if it slows your comp down at all then it's rarely worth the productivity hit.
Also, yes, I'm still on on msn occasionally

4000*5000!? That's a ridiculous resolution.

wha? no it isn't. It's a practical resolution, you need a better comp.

If my brain could do that, I wouldn't have to ride the public bus anymore.

If your brain could do that, you wouldn't be allowed on the bus

As a neuroscientist, I am SO in love with this image. Is there any way at all I could get a print of this image? I have used it on my blog (with reference to your ownership and website, of course), but would love to have it in my office...and quite frankly, in my home!

"As a neuroscientist" wow, You know how many people must wish they could say that!?

Well Doc If you'll bear with me a couple of days I'll upload an improved high-res version of this picture of which you can buy a print of if you like. The problem with this one at the moment is that it's an old image that's too low-res to make a decent art print (plus I'm not confident of the details standing up to much scrutiny).
