Description
One from a series of images I produced for my final semester 1 project at uni. The brief (self-directed) was to produce a set of six illustrations for a limited illustrated edition of David Mitchell's (the writer) novel Cloud Atlas.Even if you've read the book, I doubt this scene will have stuck in your mind, if I recall, it took up a single sentence mentioned in passing. However, I thought it summed up the atmosphere of this part of the novel.

I just finished the book, and this makes me cry all over again.
WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST STEP UP, SIXSMITH? You could have stopped him!
So, um... yeah. Fantastic job.

Oh gosh, that's a tough question. It's like 6 mini stories that all interlink and make the one big story that spans a few hundred years, from the 1800s to a post apocolyptic future. Every story is told in a different way via a different character and in a different place, one of em is sad, one is really funny one is exciting ect. It's a lot of fun to read cause if you start getting bored of one plotline another suddenly comes along. Read it!
