This is a DEMO. It is not perfect. DEMO.

I wondered if I could program this in Flash and I think I did ok with it. The main thing about this Demo is that you play as Link, and an A.I. Zelda follows you and you can interact with her. You can pick her up, punch her, and other things that I haven't really worked on yet. I'd like to see a Zelda game where you can do something similar to this.

Controls

Arrow Keys----Move
SpaceBar------Jump
A---------------attack 1
S---------------attack 2
D---------------attack3
X---------------Guard
Hold C---------Carry Zelda (It's buggy)

Zelda input

Zelda will follow you normally.
If you walk too far away from her she will sit and wait for you to come back.
You can attack her.
She opens paths for you.
Hold the C key to carry her over hazards or places she doesn't want to go (really doesn't work yet.)

Zelda's Affection Meter

If you attack her or leave her the meter goes down.
If you do nice things (Touch the heart on the right side of the screen) The meter goes up.


I think this is a neat concept...although this isn't a full game or anything; I think it's an ok example.
